I had pain deep in my ear & my doctor kept thinking it was an infection or too much wax. My dentist wasnt quite sure if it was from putting fillings in teeth as had filled 2 cavities right before I got the pain in my ear, so he had adv me to see my doctor who didnt help. So I went to an ear, nose & throat specialist & the DR adv me it was from tryng to close my mouth after havng it open for a while to have both fillings done. Some area deep w/in my ear got inflamed & the ibuprofen just wasnt cutting it. I remember it was a little hard to shut. The DR gave me samples of Celebrex & the pain went away. Not sure if that is your problem or not, but going to see an ear, nose & throat specialist would prob be a wise thing to do. Hope this helps.

The last time I had booth hurting at the same time it was actually my wisdom teeth coming in the only thing my dentist told me to do until appointment time for the pain was to put A de solvable aspirin on the tooth and let it dissolve. This did ease the pain to at least manageable. You could go to the ER if it's real bad but that is expensive even with ins. Hope this helps.

sounds like a sinus infection to me, the sinuses go from behind the nose, down and around the line of the cheekbones then round the eyes to the forehead, if you have an infection this can affect the nerves in the face which are shared by your upper teeth by causing pressure pains it will also affect your ears as the ears and nose are connected also, I would strongly suggest seeing your MD or an ENT specialist for treatment for this.

Might be a sinus infection!
I had one that made my teeth hurt. It was only on the top right side though. If you have all over teeth pain, it might be from grinding or clenching your teeth at night.

p.s. You don't have to have a snotty nose and drainage to have a sinus infection!

First you need to seek a second opinion.
Try gargling warm salty water. Take garlic pills too.
If it looks like swelling, put some ice on it.
You might be having some complication that doesn't show up on Xrays, or exams. I've had the same thing happen.

do you feel it more when you wake up in the morning? if so you may be a grinding at night. your ligaments may be inflamed from grinding and that can give you toothache pain. Advil can help. you can try a warm washcloth and massage your lower jaw(just below the ears) you may want to consider a mouthgaurd.

Go to an ear nose and throat specialist and he will be able to tell you where the problem is coming from and can refer you to the right dentist if need be. Good luck!
