for me the answer is simple. I don't believe that we 've evolved. I believe that we were created. and evolution is not a fact.. as its name states its only a "theory" which has both evidences for and against it whereas "gravity" is a law which means its proved.

Haven't evolved in a million years? Actually humans are a pretty new species, out ancestors were around not to long ago. And also, humans still evolving (getting taller, living longer, etc). So really humans are evolving right now.
And even if Darwin had reservations about his theory, all the other scientists who have proved his ideas have answered any questions he may have had.

**** erectus lived one million years ago. We have evolved dramaticly. Darwin had no "vague conclusions". Where he did not have the evidence, Darwin was a good honest naturalist who acknowledged the limits and incompleteness of his theories. The fact that many of the gaps have been closed, wholly or in part, by discoveries should never be ignored.

In Darwin's life genetics had not been invented yet, only natural that there should be some vagueness. I am willing to bet that what we think will change in the future also as we discover more facts. And who says that humans have stopped evolving? It might not be going how some of us think it should but human evolution is still happening.

There have been a few minor changes. There isn't much pressure on our species to change. Turtles are another example, and they have been stable much longer.
Why do we have the remains of an inner eyelid?
Why do we have an appendix?
There are many things left over that are useless now that are obvious leftovers from evolution. Evolution is also the only thing that matches the fossil record.
True science has not gotten the mechanism down perfectly and there are squabbles about details. But there is no serious debate in scientific circles that it happened.

We have evolved. A million year ago we neanderthal. Now were are homospaiens. The homosapen species has evolved. Look how far we come we now build computers and cures that actually work. maybe our apperance really hasn't change but are capacity for knowledge has. Which is adaptable trait that we need to survive. So we have evolved. And evolution is simple a change over time no matter how big or small it is.

I "believe" in evolution for the same reason I "believe" the earth orbits the sun - because ALL available objective evidence indicates it is a fact, and I don't have any self-styled, unauthoritative biblical interpreter force-feeding me his personal guesses about the meaning of Scriptural texts. True scriptural interpretation cannot conflict with true scientific discovery, or vice versa. If science made claims that I know to be flawed because of authoritative and accurate interpretation of God's Word, then I would reject such scientific ideas as false. So far I haven't run into any such situation. And, if someone's personal interpretations of the Bible conflict with what I know to be the truth because of voluminous and consistent scientific evidence, then I reject those biblical interpretations as false.

Monica evolution is a fact. All you need to do is go to visit one of the many caves that give tours. The animals in the caves like crickets and fish are exactly like the animals outside of the caves except the have been living in complete darkness for many generations. Because of this they are now white instead of the normal color of their outdoor cousins. They also have no eyes or only vestigial eye buds. This happens because eyes and coloration have no purpose in total darkness. Otherwise they are identical to their outdoor counterparts
This evolution takes place within a few hundred feet of their outdoor counterparts. It is fact, I have observed this and you can too.
Stop listening to people who don't want to face the obvious truth. They make you look foolish when you listen to them.
Love and blessings Don

Personally, I don't believe any solid set of rules presented about any forms of progress in human history...evolution, creation, or otherwise. I do the research and make my own beliefs.
On a lighter note:
Most MEN probably believe the reason we haven't evolved is that you can't improve on perfection. lol....When have you ever met a man that didn't think he was anything less than perfect?! ;)

I don't "believe" in evolution any more than I "believe" in gravity. It's a fact. This million years thing is silly, just 100,000 years ago we were an entirely distinct species. Of course Darwin realized his conclusions were incomplete, he's only one man, the work of filling in the details has been done by the rest who followed. Newton's concept of gravity was incomplete at the time too.
