A very good question. You know that plastic surgeons after giving face surgery treatments, recommend applying capsule E vitamin to hasten the healing and lesson scarring. So there are people who use vitamin E as a daily routine to massage into wrinkled areas in order to lessen wrinkles. Another rejuvenating treatment some employ, is to vigorously massage those areas and other sagging areas with organic oils(no unhealthy additives)on a daily basis to get a non-surgical face-lift. And definitely gets rid of pimples, blackheads and many other skin disorders. Then they remove the oil and apply vitamin E. I've seen remarkable results from that treatment alone - blemish free skin and years younger looking and the skin has a lovely, healthy tone. So the answer is definitely yes

You must first eat a balanced diet to address your acne and see a dermatologist. He will then skin test you for allergies. Wash your face and use vitamin E for a short time of less than two weeks, with only one broken capsule squeezed on the space that is affected per day. I think you will then see a great improvement in your acne situation. More than one capsule of vitamin E (at a time), has been known to cause OVERDOSE and may bring about baldness in women and men, so be careful. God Bless.

If you want Vitamin E on your face go and get some Vitamin E Cream! It exists and it's probably a lot cheaper than the capsules! The best stuff for pimples is this Benzac A-C cream... it is a bleach it's really powerful but not good on sensitive skin. But there are less powerful ones. details here: http://www.zitzapzone.com/

otherwise just keep your face really clean and eat less oily foods.

You can apply it anywhere, but it's not going to help get rid of pimples.

Take a high potency multiple vitamin and mineral. On top of that, look to extra zinc. Several double-blind studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of zinc in the treatment of acne. In fact, these studies have shown zinc to yield similar results to tetracycline in superficial acne and superior results in deeper acne.

Take zinc picolinate, zinc acetate or zinc monomethionine. These forms of zinc are more effectively absorbed than the zinc gluconate or citrate and, therefore, may produce even better effects.

Although some people in these studies showed dramatic improvement immediately, the majority usually required 12 weeks of supplementation before good results were achieved. A safe and effective dose for zinc is 30-45 mg per day.

Vitamin E generally comes in an oil. Oil is not good for acne prone skin. But Vitamin E is great for a sore, cut, abrasive area of skin, or rash. Just becareful with flare ups if used for acne.
Better to rub a cut lemon on the pimple twice a day or more. It offers Vit. C to heal and drys the skin. It works try it.

You can but it will not cure acne. Acne is more of an infection that will respond to antibiotics, cream or pills. Sorry. Vitamin e on your face cannot hurt you but you will find it sticky.

Actually, this medical study shows that vitamin e applied topically is actually worse for your skin than nothing.
