I have dissolvable sutures, tied criss cross over a pinkish, whitish matter...is this what a clot should look like?

I am experiencing pain. I had it extracted yesterday. I am on Naproxen. Should I not have pain?

That sounds normal. Usually you will see a pinkish/yellowish looking gel-like substance. This is the clot and granulation tissue forming. This immature connective tissue will eventually completely fill in and cover the socket with new gum tissue. Try to keep this area clean and free of food debris! As long as you are not experiencing any pain, swelling or bleeding, I wouldn't worry! I hope that this proves helpful!

Sounds normal! As long as you are not experiencing any pain, everything seems to be going as planned. If you are experiencing pain, may I ask when the extraction was done? If not, I hope everything keeps going the way it is, sounds good! Happy Healing!
Ps. when in doubt go see your dentist, post op appt's after extractions should not cost you any money.

That sounds perfectly normal that is what it should look like, that is how things in the mouth look as they heal. You should have some pain more like tenderness/soreness, it should not be throbbing pain that you can 't get any relief from, if so that could be a dry socket and you would need to see your dentist. Hope it helps.

SOME RESIDUAL DISCOMFORT IS TO BE EXPECTED. NAPROXEN IS AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ANALGESIC MEDICATION. HAVING SUTURES IN PLACE ISA GOOD THING TO MAKE SURE THAT FOREIGN MATTER DOES NOT GET INTO THE EXTRACTED SOCKET. ALSO SUTURE KEEP THE CLOT IN PLACE AND MAKE HEALING UNEVENTFUL.
