I met once a Swedish guy who was the bodyguard to Ace of Base. He would have been a lot happier if his clients were consistent, kept to schedules, went to bed early, and didn't try to distract him.

Show professional courtesy. Keeping him up all night with hotel parties would interfere with his sleeping patterns, risking his responsiveness and alertness. And don't obstruct his line of sight when he is trying to spot if anybody in a large crowd wants to stab you.
