Symptom control:

Hot towels over the nose and cheekbones

Vaporizer in lap with a towel over your head and the vaporizer. Breathe the steam through your nose as much as you can. Won't taint your breast milk or hurt you or the baby. Also is great for your complexion! You can put the vaporizer next to your bed at night too. Be careful to keep it clean so you don't get mold or bacteria.

Rinse your sinuses with sterile saline. Buy the big bottles from the contact lens dept. Get the sensitive eyes type to you don't irritate your mucous membranes. Get a big towel Lay on your back and hang your head down over the edge of the bed. Plug one nostril and squirt a good amount of the solution into the other, then switch sides. Then sniff it back into the sinuses a few times as much as you can. Then sit up and let it run out into the towel. You can repeat this twice a day, but not more that 3 days.

If none of this works, see an ear, nose, and throat Dr. Sinus infections can eat up into your brain. It's rare, but it happens.

I would guess that there is something in your home that you are allergic to. You need to go to an allergy specialist and have testing done, this will show what you are sensitive to. Also have your basement checked carefully for molds. Do you have pets? Cats are often a huge culprit to allergies. A doctor can determine if you need to take a prescription medication to relieve your symptoms, or you may need to have a series of injections (which are not as painful as they seem) to help you build up tolerance to your allergies. Look for a E.N.T. (Ear Nose and Throat) specialist in your area. Most insurances will cover the testing and treatment needed.

You should tell your docter. He/she might have advice. It probably had something to do with the pregnancy going wrong. I am only a 6th grader and I have allergies. My mom does this sinus clenser, and even though it doesn't feel very good, it helps.

Give it a little time, the allergies should clear up, if not, get some prescription meds.

I had the same problem. Doctor said "no more dairy products including yogurt, milk, cheese, cottage cheese etc. " It surprisingly worked for me.
