Uh, YEAH. Would you rather be with someone you are comfortable with and have great chemistry with, who happens to be fat? Or bored out of your mind with someone that happens to be skinny? Please.

Yes, he's not fat, but he could be for all I care. He was the complete opposite of anyone and everyone I ever considered. His personality, intelligence, charm and the fact that there could be a dozen beautiful woman in a room, but it's only me he sees is amazing. You never know what life has to offer, why not go down a road less traveled. He could be there already waiting for you!

Of couse you should conside dating regardless of a persons weight. It appears that you would pick appearance over personality, unless youre just curious about what others think. Imagine it the other way, you are attracted by their appearance, but not personality, do you think this would really be a good relationship? Now if you are attracted to both, thats a plus and good for you.

As a guy, a woman's looks mean a lot. But I will admit, now that I'm older -- I'll never admit to slowing down, so don't go there!, looks aren't nearly as important as is her ppersonality. I like having someone I can talk to -- I have an extremely high IQ and my mind is always going, I was often called weird. My first wife was a great looking woman but she was a space cadet. My (current) wife, wasn't as thin as I'd have liked. But then, I've added to that with having gotten her pregnant and my outrageous eating habits. Love her dearly and would be lost without her. I try and always let her know that too.

it depends if i am fat too or not.
it also depends on how i rank fatness in my personal scale of physical attractiveness.
for instance, i could never ever consider dating someone i didnt find physically attractive at all. even if i loved their personality, the most we could ever be is friends.
there just has to be some sexual element for me, since we live in a physical world. if we lived in world where it doesnt, in the end, come down to physically being with someone and doing sexual things with them, then i would definitely consider a mental relationship. but that's not the case.

of course... I am a guy... I had this happen I was just really good friends with this gurl.. she was a little large.. but after awhile it turned into more... an we dated for a little while.. . didn't work out.. but.. Just becasue somone is a littler over wieght doesnt' mean they can't be the love of your life... However, If i didn't know this person.. and saw her in the club ... probably wouldn't be the one i would go after.... But if i knew her... and liked her personallity.. maybe.

Be honest with yourself. If you were blind, would you care about colour, race, or appearance? If you like this person, then spend time with this person. If it is apparent that he or she has a health problem, perhaps you could help your new friend. Don't miss out on a great relationship because you are worried about what people will think if you are seen with someone who is not exactly like them. Bigots are idiots, so don't be one.
