There are several methods...
1 - Without removing the husk, put it in a plastic bag, close it and reheat it in microwave for 1 or 1 1/2 minutes.
2 - Without removing the husk, place it in a vegetable steamer basket, covered, until fully reheated, being careful that water does not touch the tamale.
3 - Without removing the husk, put it in a thick hot skillet, uncovered and without adding any water or oil, and let the husks brown a little until tamale is hot inside.
4 - Remove the husks and in a frying pan with some oil (not olive) fry the tamales until golden and crisp. Serve with refried beans.
5 - You can make a tamale pie... put in a buttered Pyrex a layer of tamales, a layer of green or red salsa, a layer of shredded chicken a layer of cream and a layer of shredded cheese. In the oven until cheese is golden, and serve with refired beans... yummy!

You can reheat tamales in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. (Don't try to re-steam them. ) If you freeze them, you can reheat them by putting the frozen tamales in a casserole dish, covering with foil, and heating in a 350 oven for 30-35 minutes.

Briefly in a microwave, just to begin to heat and then on a hot griddle while it's still in the husks to lightly toast the outsides. Turn frequently so as not to burn, Serve with hot salsa and hot coffee. Enjoy!
