Why are guys scared to be committed(commitment) to us girls?

I'm not. I'm looking for someone to be committed to. I just don't want to rush into it and find out in a few months I made the wrong choice, as I often have when I was much younger.

Why can't you wait along with the guys, don't pressure them too much? Give them space and time, try not to stick the ol' harpoon in them if u are starting to feel the fluttery feelings of puppy love that we ALL feel in the beginning.

There is a difference between attraction and lust, and real love.

Sorry to say it like this. A man will never commit if he is getting everything he wants without a commitment. He gets meals, he gets a roof over his head, he gets a bed to lay in, he gets sex ANYTIME he wants it. He gets beer, you name it he gets it. So why commit if you get all the privileges of a commitment. Not only that not commiting gives him a quick get away from the woman. Also some are with women for sex only until he can find someone else who can give them more. Some guys think a track record of dating many girls is a rewarding thing that makes them feel like they are a woman's dream, But instead he is letting them know he is also a death trap for any woman who does not want Sexually transmitted diseases. For me to know a man has had many women is a good signal to LEAVE HIM BE!!!
But don't get me wrong there are women out there that does the same thing.

Because being committed takes them off the market with other girls and makes them have to be responsible. They know that there are more girls than guys out there and they can afford to be picky. So, they'd rather try to run a lot of girls than just be with one. Do you know how many girls are givin' it up one way or the other, just to have a boyfriend? A lot! It might not be sex, but they're buying shoes and clothes, and guys are eatin' it up.

Don't be in a rush to be committed. You've got your whole life for that. Have you some male friends and enjoy male company. Let them get to know you as a friend first. The other stuff will come.

Because why should we just have 1 woman when we can have 10?? We like to keep looking to see if the girl next door has something better to offer us. Say you're making sweet potatoes and the woman next door is cooking steaks. Now where is the guy gonna go???

This is why - because women tend to make the decisions in our relationship; they take control - try to change us, get bossy, etc.....

So men need try to keep one foot out the door so they can eventually be free and live their life as they want again.

because our guy friends are so awesome we don't want to be with some one and spend our lives with a girl that isn't as awesome as our guy friends.

and when our best guy friends get girlfriends or get married, we die inside knowing that our friendship and awesome times are going to be different and never the same and less often and not as good.

sucks. wish girls were more awesome. i mean they can be cool and fun sorta but the ones that I meet don't know my bands, do my stuff, make me piss myself laughing like my guy friends.
