Stop using it!
Don't wash with soap - you have to have something gentler for your skin, soap is probably making it worse.
Soak a soft rag in milk and let it rest on your face to get rid of the burning. Stop using the acne meds and call your family doc for advice on something to clear up sensitive skin

Like one user said, soaking some lukewarm milk in a half saturated washcloth, will take care of the swelling. I don't know what your skin type is... using moisturizer that is not suited will result in making it worse and causing a new symptom. Trash the cleanser and get your money back. Someone wrote Proactive, in my opinion, that wouldn't be advisable because the constituent levels are very high and will intefere with normal skin function. The best bet is what I first stated, to bring down the redness and swelling; also with a steam. Fill your sink with lukewarm water, plug it so it stays. Use 1 drop olive oil and swish it in and soak for about 10 minutes. This will regenerate the natural follicles. To maintain itching and keep up daily, use some Phisoderm. It's reasonably priced and will "cool " the temperature of the skin. Avoid skin products with soy, those are dangerous if you have a thyroid problem. I wish you the best!

Stop using the cleanser. Flush your face with cold water not hot. Use vitamin E oil to stop the burning. Do not use anything that will irritate your skin while it is healing such as soap or creams. Just cold water. If your symptoms don't stop and you can't call a doctor go to the pharmacy. They should be able to help you. Try Vitamin E oil first. Hope you feel better.

Stop using the acne cleanser you bought! You are either allergic to it or it dried out your skin so bad it has become irritated. If you are having acne problems, try using ProActive or the cheaper brand available at Wal-mart called Acne-free. It works wonders and believe me, I.ve tried it all.

I'm not a woman but the same thing happens to me when I use an achne cleanser. but if I wash my face after I use the cleanser I dont seem to get irritated. Dont leave the acne cleanser on your face after you use it always wash your face when you get through.

There's probably and email address on the cleanser. Write them and describe your symptoms and see if they can help you.
