I believe that there is such a thing as soul mates.

YES. This is two people who through destiny are meant to be together in this life. And they may have been related in a former live. This person is in your chart for life that you made in heaven.
Read this book: Soul Signs by Rosemary Althea
This is one of the best books that I ever read on this subject and it is so accurate that it can change the way you look at everyone around you.

there is no soul mate here on earth ,, there are like souls or kindred souls ,souls you have been with before .
are actual soul mate is never here on earth with us we do have a twin soul, female/male aspect to ourselves but we do not meet them here on earth but yes we have a soul mate on the other side [i know a bit confusing ]but we are all yin and yang [male /female].and as such half is on the other side watching over us in a way but not together on the physical realm.
but certainly we have people whom we feel so close to mostly because we more then likely have spent many lifetimes with them and we simply KNOW them .

I love my wife and she's my best friend - she is the best person for me to be with in every way possible. I don't have any thoughts of her on a pedestal nor do I engage in romanticized idealization of her and our relationship. .Metaphorically, she's my 'soul mate' but I don't think she's this 'one and only' match that's out there.

Everyone is your soul mate. Each of us is a part of God. Your soul is a part of God, so is everyone Else's. This makes each and every being your soul mate.
Perhaps it's time we started treating them like what they are.

yes, I believe twin flames is another definition of it too. I have mine. We both know what the other thinks, feels, we can speak without talking. Even before we met we had similar experiences, and we were 1000 miles apart.

nope there aren't... you make your own soul mate by going with the right person and if it don't work try an other person and if it stil don't work try an othe one Stil don't work well you could have your own problem or you could be the one with the problem...every man or women should be treated with respect but specialy with love you can't ask for the coffee to be sweet if you forgot to buy the sugar right.........

Yes. Everybody will find theirs if they haven't, somewhere in time. If you found yours in the past already, you will know who this person is, when you find him in the future.
