Yes (gagging!). At least 5 litters with 17 or 18 pups available...as of a week or so ago. And they can claim that all the pups are all 'spoiled' by the two children. Yeah, right. Those two kids are probably sick of pups by now.

The parents of the kids grew up raising chickens and cows, and it seems that they have found new paying 'livestock' in small dogs. Poor parents of these 'spoiled' pups. Did you notice there wasn't a single shot of kennels or adult dogs? No mention of these animals, whatsoever?

Just close-up shots of 'cute' pups.

And they call the mutts/mixed breeds/mongrels...HYBRIDS!!! Hybrids, like a donkey/horse mix (mule), like a lion/tiger mix (tigron or liger). Mixing breeds of the same species is NOT hybridization!

The health guarantee is a joke. Anytime the dog is guaranteed from genetic diseases for merely one year, you know the breeder isn't concerned about the health of the pups. The guarantee should stretch the life of the dog, as many genetic diseases don't show up until they are two or more years old.

YES, this is a puppy mill, a very classic one.

edited to say: The person who calls themself 'help': There are several 'registries' that have sprung up in the past decade to accomodate puppy mills, or people who have dogs who have no TRUE registration/pedigree/history.

I know on one such site, you simply send in your XXX amount of dollars along with a picture of the dog and verification from two people that this dog is purebred. For this money, you are sent a registration. The two people to verify? They could be your neighbor and the guy who had a flat tire in front of your house! You don't have to even know who the parents of the dog are to register it as a 'purebred'. It just has to kind of sort of look like some breed, and PRESTO...you have paperwork verifying this dog is a purebred!

So, now when you sell pups from this dog, you can claim it is registered with xyz and the pups are more costly! COOL!

In other words, any of these 'fly by night' organizations are bogus, IMO.

Well, any place that pushed out puppy's for profit and the mothers are used as a constant form of profit is a puppy mill.......Alot of these animals are great but if you think about it, there are alot of wonderful puppies in Animal control or shelters that are on the list to be put down, I would think that the ones in the mill are not. The shelters are the best place to get animals that need good homes. To rescue an animal is to basically give that animal the gift of life....CORNY< I KNOW!..But I fell this way because I have 3 dogs I rescued and the love they have for my family is unbelievable...But, on the other hand, my brother and sister-in-law bought a puppy from a mill, and he was eat up with ear mites, worms and a skin disease...He is a sweet puppy, but they paid 400.00 for this puppy...+ all the vet bills for the other infections, they paid over $2000.00....My babies have not had any problems and have only went in for shots and check ups....I paid $45.00 adoption fee and they were spayed by the county for free as well as given all of their shots by a vet I choose,,,,,,
So, in my opinion, a rescue is better than a mill,.,,,and, that place is a Puppy Mill...

disgraceful puppy mill! The pups do not even look good for what they are supposed to be...the eyes on many are not right...not just bad pics...to many slew eyes for it not to be genetic. Very poor quality dogs..sad, sad, sad. Cross breeds (mutts, I don't care what you call them) are bred because the parents are dogs that are too poor to pass as registered dogs...AKC is the only reputable registration of dogs, they are very strict, but sadly, not even they can keep up with bad breeders. A good peke need NOT be crossed to produce great dogs. A Good poodle is NEVER crossed to make a mutt! A good Lhaso (I suppose there is such a thing) is never crossed to make a designer dog by reputable breeders. Good breeders bred for conformation, freedom of deformity, and usually temperament...although temperament is not as important in the show rings as conformation is, judging will not go well for snappy dogs. Any cross of a dog breed is guaranteed to be from poor stock. The pure stock could not sell, so they play games with the breed, the registration, etc. Puppy mill...you bet cha!

domestic dog generators breed canines that finally end up in kilos. puppy shops sell canines that take the properties of different proper animals merely to make a greenback. for my area, that's undesirable. I had a looooog talk approximately how procuring a canines is stupid and vicious while adopting one is greater useful for society with my buddy. regardless of the shown fact that domestic dog generators are run to make a quite penny, they are plagued with canines that should no longer be bred interior the 1st place and then there is inbreeding. This reasons many problems for the canines interior the long-term, which includes genetic subjects and ailments. do no longer think of that kilos are all that great too. sure they are attempting to do a competent job looking after those animals and presented shelter and scientific take care of them yet many are underfunded so canines from shelters could be in danger of an identical ailments. additionally, the place do you think of all those puppy shop domestic dogs pass whilst they get to special to be "stunning" and the puppy shop won't have something to do with them?.. They pass to the pound. So the two canines could be an identical. domestic dog mill canines are greater probable to have something incorrect with them in a wellness perspective, yet although they might possibly no longer. The pound canines is that domestic dog mill canines... merely older.

Sure looks that way.

Ya know, when people hear the word Puppymill...they automatically picture sick and dead dogs in filthy conditions. That isnt always the case.
A puppymill is a place whose sole purpose is to make a profit on dogs. They usually breed several different breeds (purebred and mixes) and will breed the dogs over and over in order to produce the most puppies they can get. More puppies = more $$$ Puppy mills usually call them selves "commercial breeders"..I guess they think that sounds better.

I noticed they are in Missouri...That is a big "mill state" There are more puppymills in that state, than any other state in the US. Pennsylvania is the 2nd (Amish areas usually)
If you ever ask to see the papers of a puppy in a pet store, more than likely they it will say they came from Missouri.

It's hard to tell. The one thing that I thought of though is it's in Missori and that's a common place for puppy mills since they don't have anti-puppy mill laws in the midwest. But is that to say her dogs aren't health?? There aren't pictures of the facilites which doesn't allow evaluation of the area that the animals are kept in and whelpped in. Unless you are able to go to the facilities and see it I wouldn't get dogs from here. And there isn't any AKC registration (althought plenty of puppy mills have AKC registered dogs so that doesn't mean much). It's never good to get dogs off the internet. Much better to find a place that you can pick up your dog from the breeder and see the temperment of the dam and stud. Also see the area they are kept in and make sure that things are clean.

In viewing this site,I would have to say that the guarantee tey're giving on their pups sounds correct, but as far as saying it is a Puppy Mill that would be hard to say unless youwent to this kennel and saw all pets there.I noticed another person saying that APRI isn't a registry,But it most definately is and that is stated by a person that doesn't know what they're talking about,as A.K.C. isn't the only registry within U.S.If I'm not mistaken I believe this kennel is run by a women named Shonda Maddison and if it is,then I've purchased a pup from this place about two years ago and was very pleased with the pup.So you can see that people will speak out of turn when they really don't know anything about this kennel.

Warning signs:

Multiple breeds (serious breeders concentrate on only one or two breeds)

Mixed breeds (reputable breeders NEVER deliberately breed mixes)

APRI registration (this is a sham registry for those who can't meet the AKC's minimal standards)

Accepting credit cards and Paypal

Will sell to anyone willing to pay (reputable breeders screen buyers carefully to make sure the pups have good homes)

Yes this is definitely a puppy mill and the worst thing is they are mixing breeds and they don't know about any grenetic defects that these new breeds will bring with them.

Yes. Stay away from these places and go to a reputable breeder that only breeds one certain breed and has done so for a number of years. Prefer one that is acknowledged by AKC.
