What were humans put on earth for?

Where do humans fall into the circle of life? Trees give off oxygen, fish server as food, where do us as humans come in? What needs us? Whats our purpose?

Fantastic question Crystal C. Do you know anything about the BIBLE, at all the manual for Life? OR What about history of this planet and universe at all? I will answer your great question with absolute truth and honesty! God designed and created everything heaven and earth with a spoken sentence which is where the word universe originates. He created all the plants first, (perfect design) the biology of the plant is that they breath in through their leaves carbon dioxide and produce oxygen which is what humans and animals need to breath on land and what we expel the carbon dioxide is what plants breath (genius huh?) (same type of process under water but obviously different chemical components in water so extracting oxygen a little different). That's the perfect physical side (these days you'll notice that in many countries like in Australia for eg bygone Governments made very bad decisions and laws where station/land owners had to clear the land, now it looks deshevelled like it's been raped in many areas, however new governing laws are making amends and putting trees and habitats back for animals and the land, avoiding not only soil erosion, but we need plants to breath! Australia has I think off the top of my head about 1 in 4 with asthma for eg (also attributed by preservatives in food which a century ago and prior was only sugar or salt!) Which also leads to another piece of spoken word - "For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil!" See what happens when people with the wrong heart and motives put profit above people, animals and the earth! On a spiritual level humans are created in the image of God and those that want Him to adopt them will spend eternity in their own big mansion in Heaven with Him! He wants a loving family!!! Being, for the most part, at the top of the food chain, and with the ability to modify our environment (or destroy it), we make our own purpose. (Barring religious arguments)

We are the only creature capable of modifying our environment to the point of making the entire planet uninhabitable. Conversely, we are also capable, if we choose, and if we allow ourselves to put the environment before our wallets, to make this planet one which is habitable for all creatures on the planet.

Outside of deity, we control what happens here and whether or not there will be an Earth for our children and their children.

Noblesse oblige says it all. We are the reigning creatures, and with that position comes responsibility. If we shirk it for convenience and monetary gain, the result will be a planet not capable of supporting us. That which we destroy will ultimately destroy us.

not the evolutionary theory??? There is no other rational explanation.All religious myths are contrary to modern science. The aliens-bred-us stories don't hold up either. But our genes prove it; we're from planet earth and genetically related to all other living things on the planet. We even share scores of the same genes. Nobody put us here, we evolved here - humans are earthborne - we're home-grown.

What purpose do bears have? Or dogs? Or whales? You could make the case that animals at the top of the food chain die and fertilize the earth or defecate and distribute seeds.

We werent put here we evolved and spread our seed to become what we are today. Humans. A virus plague willing to destroy or cure our future is unplanned and undecided but our goal is set in stone and it is to survive.
