Just because a few people do something out of ignorance does not allow us to stereotype ALL the people of that religion or community as having the same beliefs. The same is true for Islam, most of the negative things about Islam out there today are a result of unproportinate blowing up of small/ minor/uncommon incidents or issues. The media thinks people want to hear anti-Islamic things so lets give them that.......and the sad part is that people never even try to find out the truth or authencity of these claims by the media.
As for the question, instead of "killing" my child, I would rather sit back and think where did I fail in my duties as a parent and most importantly as a muslim that my child decided to convert to Judaism? And then maybe try to reason with him/her and finally, I'll let go because if he/she wants to convert, I am assuming that they are mature enough to know what they are doing, they know the Truth, they know Islam...and even though Islam asks us to think about ourselevs, our families , our near and dear ones....in the Hereafter, everyone is for himself/herself.

My job is raise good Muslim children. If for some reason my child were to come to me and tell me he/she was converting to Judaism then of course I'd be upset. What parent wouldn't? My parents were upset with me converting to Islam from Christianity. I certainly wouldn't go and kill my child.
Killing the child for converting to another religion? I've never heard of that. Interesting. What's your source?

First, let me say that Judaism IS accepting of converts, even though we do not recruit.
My second point relates to the question: Muslims who want to convert to Judaism are murdered by their families; it happened in Israel.

This is an extremely un realistic question but...If I had kids and they wanted to convert to Judaism, I would want to hear their opinions on why they would want to take this totally backwards leap. Allah wants us to make our own decisions, and there are only two unforgivable sins: Not believing in god, or believing in more than one god.

Nothing, I would let the Jews do it for me. Many aren't accepting of converts. Judaism doesn't want converts. Conversion is for Muslims and Christians. Jews are unaccepting of gentiles.

it is between him and God.
My job is to make sure he learns the true path but if he is the one who must decide.
