Does any one know what this kind of photo this is I used to know the name of it but I cant remeber?

that's not a photo. It's a cut paper silouette. It is made by shining a bright light on your profile and tracing the outline on black paper.

Do you mean the actual item in the photograph? That's a silhouette. As far as the type of photography used.. it looks like your run of the mill digital camera. Hope that helped.

that piece isn't exactly photography. But it is a profile. I would consider it a portait. :)
