I just want to know from MEN... When you tell a girl that you are going thought a lot right now and you need time to gather stuff together... is that true? When you ask them this " Do you just want me to face all the face of the earth, would you rather me not call anymore and give up?" and the answer is this--- "Why would you say that I just need time .... it has nothing to do with you"???** help define please ..lol When you know the man deeply cares...

It depends...I've said that to begin the breakup process and I've also said that because i just needed the space. If he tells you that, then give him space, leave him alone, don't call, but make sure he has a way of getting ahold of you and let him know you what you need too. Make sure he knows that you have time for him and want to see him...or talk to him...or whatever...when he's ready. Be supportive and understanding.

Yes, it is true. I have said the same thing before to women and it means exactly what it means. Here is the interpretation for you: "I am dealing with a boatload of crap right now, and I don't want to burden you with it because I am a man and should be able to handle all this crap on my own. You are supposed to be taken care of and have a life as free of as many issues as I can free you from. I love you and care enough about you to be a big man for you."
You can make his life easier right now by making him feel like a man. Bake him some bread and feed him.

OK, from a 54-year-old GUY;
THAT answer is a L-I-E. The guy who says it is LOOKING for anything OTHER THAN a serious relationship. Do NOT chase after him; that makes him run away even further. Go on with your life, find someone else. There are plenty of guys looking for a serious relationship out there. Just say "next"
