You will be treated like any other sailor.
You will not have to eat pork, however, halal meals are not available.

No. The good thing about the U.S. military is that you are treated equally, like any other soldier. Just stick to your duties and you'll be fine. Speaking a foreign language is always a plus. And you don't have to eat pork or anything you don't want to. Wish you make it to become a navy lieutenant one day!!

Hi. I think you should not worry about joining the Navy if that is your dream. You will be treated like any other sailor by 99% of the guys and gals you serve with. Will there be a couple of jerks who want to ask dumb questions? Yes. Probably, but no more than any where else you go. And the Navy will respect your religious needs about food. Thank you for your willingness to serve our country (yours and mine). We need to keep America a place where people of all religions are treated with dignity and respect.

lol, i like how u put "(not terrorist)" for all the ignorant people, but i dont think you'll have too much trouble, as long as u can take a joke and laugh at urself sometimes (ppl seem to have a hard time with that nowadays) u'll be fine. I'm sure they'll have other alternatives for food too. take care

No matter what career you choose you are going to have pricks giving you a hard time. Trust me, it'll just make you stronger. Many, many people have a hard time adjusting to military life for several different reasons but the best ones always pull through so if you think you have what it takes don't let anything stop you. You don't have to eat anything you don't want to but I can't promise you'll always have a great alternative.

dude.. everyone respects everyone no matter what. you may have some wild d*ckHeads that they think they all that but thats in every culture. But your only fourteen. You might have a change of thought when your eight-teen. The war might be the same or for worse, or we even could be in peace. i know there are mad Muslims in the military alone. you won't be disrespected upon. Unless you mess with people heads.
