Once a girl or woman gets sexually assaulted (that covers molestation now), it takes a long time to get over it. She needs to learn to trust again and sometimes that can take a long time and it takes a lot of patience. If you're a decent guy, you certainly would not take advantage of her if she fell asleep. That's about the worst thing you could do. That would destroy any trust she has in you and may give her the feeling that NO GUY can be trusted.
I think she feels safe with you and that should make you feel good. You should be proud that she trusts you so much. Both of you just take it easy, give it time.

Sounds right, at least what you wrote up to now: "Both of you just take it easy, give it time". Anyway, what´s your point?

Firstly; you approach this hypothetical situation from the perspective that you have the potential to be trusting with out seeking out therapy for the sexual abuse. Contrary to what you are proclaiming, you would be a mess psychologically and very well may be sexually active, as a direct result of your molestation. ( This is why you would attract guys, who want to have sex with you, and they won't be patient with you, either !) You would exhibit problems with trust. You would display problems with "feeling" and more than likely, have addiction disorders. What you would need then, is competent counselling for the abuse to set your head right (a process). You are obviously, attempting to "paint" the ideal scenario to cover your bad, past, sexual molestation experience. My heart goes out to you - SINCERELY and I hope you get the counselling to give you a chance of finding a patient guy who will not try to take advantage of you. You are a valuable person - I would dare say, PRECIOUS . The abuse ISN'T your fault - HONEST !!! You are SPECIAL and are worth something to the right guy in your future. Much Good Luck to you !!!

Anytime ANYONE gets attacked, you never get over it. I had a neighbor attack me because he felt I was driving too fast on our street and I blew my horn at his to kids which were SITTING in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. That was months ago, but each time I look down the street at his house, I feel a twinge of fear and pain.

Trust will never come back. But she can definitely use a companion.

Yes, I completely agree. What any girl or woman needs after anything that may have her lose her trust in men is a caring and lovign man who is not interested in a sexual relationship as much as a lovign and caring one.
