If the intake on your vehicle covers the heads you may have to remove it to gain access to the rearward exhaust ports, unless you have a way to raise the vehicle and get to it from underneath.

I am assuming you are installing on a V-6. If not, then you have to remove everything that blocks the exhaust manifold mounting bolts and nuts. Then you have to remove the exhaust manifold from the lower exhaust pipe, should be two or three bolts. Then with some negotiating with the part, you can pull it out. Then get yourself some new gaskets, and intall the new headers.

But why? KA 2.4 liter engine is over square 3" bore and 3.5" stroke which means it does not like high RPM. Essentially a pick up truck kind of motor. Remove the tin shield four 10mm bolts remove the under engine exhaust remove the 6 or 8 nuts holding the exhaust manifold to the cyl head disconnect the 02 sensors remove the old replace it with the headers dont forget to relocate the 02 sensors and use a high flow cat converter.
