My hair is dirty blonde and I want it be black with jagged red tips my mom wont let my temporarily dye it unless it washes out in one wash and she will never let me do it permanatly (sp?) anyways is there like a was of making hair dye that washes out other than koolaid which only makes a mess?

The only thing i can think of is semipermenant hair color...and since the color ur going for is so dark it will take a while for it to wash out...so from what i knw theres nothing out there that is black and will wash out after one wash...just tell her that semipermenant hair color doesnt damage hair...since it has no ammonia...it only coats the hair with the color...and thats why it doesnt last that long usually washes out within 24 shampoos..
And whatever u do dont ever go for the stupid colorpulse crap..that stuff stains hair and the black will take forever to wash out...

There is really nothing that will wash out after one wash except for the temporary hair sprays that they sell at the drug store (take a look at punky.com). I would be careful with semi permanent hair coloring. Reds fade really fast but black will take a LOT longer to wash out, especially on blonde hair. I permanently dyed my hair black then bleached the tips and dyed them red and when I finally got sick of it I spent 5 hours and a few hundred bucks trying to get the color out (not to mention the hair damage).

If you have naturally blonde hair you can't believe how lucky you are!!! PLEASE! do not dye the tips of your hair " red ".
Red is such a foul color and will never come out of your hair and when it fades it will go a yucky pink.. I think you should listen to your Mom. If you have wild hair colors your school might not let you attend, you will have a harder time getting a job and being accepted in public.
SO i am begging you PLEASE don't dye your gorgeous hair, Maybe ask your mum if you can have highlights of more blonde, or some highlights or dark brown! Don't dye your hair a tacky color!!

I seriously never got why parents never let their kids dye their hair. It's hair. It's a color. It'll grow out. I dyed my hair blonde, black, and red by the time I was in 6th grade (My hair is naturally brown). Of course my mom hates it when I cut my hair but she's never told me I couldnt. Just respect your mom's wishes for now. Unless you get a "spray on" hair dye (You can get them from stores like Cosco Drugs or Spencer Gifts) that washes out.

I don't know why your mom is so dead set against it. my granddaughters 7 and 9 have the bottom of their hair dyed in any kind of colour from purple to chili red, hot pink, you name it.
The dye washes usually out with 2 washes and its vegetable based so there are no chemicals to deal with. The dye is available at drug stores in a pot.

Well, first of all I wouldnt dye your hair black with red tips, escpecially PERMENTALLY cuz youll get older and regret it. plus that would look gothic, so unless your goth stick to the dirty blond. ps im sorry if i sound like your mom but its tru

Is she totally against any coloring or hilighting, or just the colors you want? maybe you should suggest something different that is more acceptable to her, if all you want is a change. Try blonde hilights, she'll probably be relieved over you change in colors that she'll consider letting it be permenant.

I think it's rediculous that your mom won't let you dye your hair. I mean, it's your hair! But if you really must do the one day thing, then why don't you get some of that tinted hair gel. I think they sell it at hair places in the mall. Or get this hair color machine from conair. It washes out in one day.

im sorry i dont know a way of makin washable dye, but i suggest until u find one, obey your mom, just hang in there, and everything will come together in due time. you will find your dye, your mom will be satisfied, and you will happy.

I say, be sure that is really really what you want and then tell her that it is not permant and do it anyways heck your a teenager you need to live a lil.....When she asks why its not coming out just say that OH you must have gotten the wrong one... You only get to be a kid once... :) Good luck
