What would my being an atheist have anything to do with the existence of Christopher Columbus? It's documented history that he landed his ship in the Americas. It's a common misconception that he discovered them as well. Understanding history has no bearing on whether or not I believe in God...

how can i prove that yesterday existed?

somebody wrote something down, somebody made a video

was christopher columbus real-i don't know
did he actually exist-i don't know
was he just invented by some dreamer-i don't know

even with all the history-it continues to be a matter of faith-trusting that what was told, what was recorded is accurate---faith

now is for sure---only now

my master told me to not hassle tomorrow or yesterday; but, to be focused in the now

"hold your two hands up
face them towards one another
allow the left hand to represent the past
the right hand to representthe future
now bring them together
betwixt is the now
take your hands with your fingers clasped together
feel the symbolism of now

release

experience eternity"

christopher columbus?

jesus christ?

yesterday?

all a matter of faith

In the late 1500's, a man named Oliver Bark was out for a morning jog. He was running a little bit over the speed limit, and he hit something on the ground and fell over. He suddenly regained composure and came hither unto the object sprouting forth from the groundeth. He asked it why it was so mean. The object didn't say anything back. He told the object that it was a very not nice thing to do and that he felt like crying. Ever since then, he nurtured and cared for it. Hoping that one day he could talk to the object and ask it what it was, where it came from, and who invented it. I sometimes forget to read questions twice, and write a story that has nothing to do with invention.

You can debate the exact details of how he got funded for his voyages, but nobody doubts that he was real. If you're trying to suggest that there's no more proof that he existed than Jesus, that's a bad way to put it - Jesus, for example, lived much longer ago, historical records are much more sketchy. Ask whether an athiest believes that Pontius Pilate ever existed, for example.

There is a great deal of evidence from different sources that all corroborate the existence of Columbus.

Why do you ask?

Frankly Frank,
You are either really stupid or you are being obnoxious trying to make somebody really angry.
