i speak as a former muslim.
why is it that whenever islam is put to the test the question gets knocked off? i wonder how much yahoo gets paid for silencing islam critics? and to muslims who keep reporting such questions i ask,
do you think that shutting the mind of people such as meself will bring any good to islam? do you think allah can silence new techonlogy?

Hmmm.. I've always thought we have freedom of speech as long as we keep our mouths shut. :)

You are asking “whenever islam is put to the test the question gets knocked off.”

I don't have a clue to what really happens, but I would avoid answering any question that touches off a controversy. If you tone down your words, I am sure you will get a better response.

A Hindu professor, who converted to Islam, told me that the holy book of Sikhs, Guru Granth Saheb, has same opening verses as those of the holy Koran. I you have any Sikh friends, please ask for the translation of the first stanzas of Japji Saheb to check this out.

I respect all religions including Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. To preserve freedom of speech, we need tolerance and respect among all religions for peaceful coexistence.

There is so much animosity and bloodshed now between Shia and Suni Muslims in Iraq, that the situation seems out of control.

Sadam Hussain has already received a death sentence and now is on genocide trial in Baghdad. He is reported to have cited Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ who asked for forgiveness to those who opposed them.

General Surayud Chulanont, the interim prime minister of Thailand, has visited the restive southern provinces of the country a few days ago to restore peace. He apologized to the Muslim community for errors and excesses of the ousted government.

My simple answer is, “Live and let live.” to preserve our freedom of speech.

the way the TOS is written makes it achievable for Yahoo to do away with any question or answer whether you suspect this is a contravention or no longer. usually cases it style of feels that many questions and solutions are bumped off in simple terms by way of a contravention observe being published. i do no longer be conscious of what standards the YA! crew makes use of in making their determinations. even nonetheless, this isn't a count of loose speech. YA! is inner maximum carrier and isn't sure contractually, legally, or maybe ethically to permit you to apply their carrier. As such you're at their mercy. speaking from very own adventure in having tried to combat this conflict of what constitutes a contravention and receiving no delight as a outcome, my ultimate suggestion is to dismiss it and circulate on.

You realize, of course, that "Freedom of Speech" is a reference to the First Amendment, and states that GOVERNMENT shall not abridge the right to free speech.

Yahoo ain't the government. Yahoo is a private entity that can run its service as it pleases.

It's amazing to me the number of people who try to be a$$holes on services like Yahoo or other private forums, then cry "Free speech! Free speech!" when they get slapped down because they're being a$$holes.

i think that people are afraid of the truth

like Flight 93 that crashed in Pe.nnsylvania on 9/11. That thing
was shot down, but it sure makes a better story to say that
"Americans stood up and fought!"

They may have fought, but that thing was shot down...I saw the
planes.

So keep on posting & try not to get frustrated. Some people
hear you

The R&S section isn't exactly the friendliest place in Yahoo Answers... you've let a meagre little website get to your brain, mate.
