I am a Senior in highschool and there is this guy that i jus recently met. He is also a senior but he is very smart. We attend different schools so i can't compare my education to his. He is also very attractive and wanted by many. He and I just started "talking" but when i asked why he was single, he simply said because he chooses to be. apparently he is picky. (so he says). This is very intimidating for me, which is rare, because i usually dont care what people think of me. I really want to impress him but i dont really want to change who i am. Do you think i have a chance, even though my intelligence may not be as high in quality as his? (This doesn't mean i am stupid (for the haters lol)) We have a "date" friday night, and im extremely nervous. WHAT DO I DO?! i really like him. Thanks in advance.

The fact that he talks to you, when he apparently doesn't talk to very many other girls, could mean that he is interested in you. Don't worry about your intelligence; as long as you can carry on a conversation with him then you're halfway there. Some guys like girls with equal or greater intelligence, while other guys don't really care.

Do not try to impress him. Thats probably why he chooses to be single. Guys can spot that a mile away!

Just be yourself if you want to have a chance with him. Remember he's just a guy, not a God....RELAX!!
