Looking to get certified. What training course do you recommend? How much can you expect to make per class? Can you get a free membership everywhere you run a class? How many hours is the course, one day or multiple days?

it depends on the gym that is providing the spinning class, some might pay up to as low as 70 a class up to 10k a month (well that depends on how highly qualified are you)

try looking up for www.lessmills.com

Cheers

Probably the most known certification program is "Johnny G Spinning" In fact, Spinning is a trademark much like Q-tips or Kleenex. The certification course was over multiple days and it also required annual re-certification classes.

Each time she taught, she made 20 bucks a class. It doesn't sound like much, but that is over 20 bucks an hour. Also the gym gave her a free membership if she taught more than two classes a week. Obviously that will vary greatly depending on the gym.

I would call around to various gyms that offer a spinning or other cycling class and ask the instructor or the fitness manager the same question you posed here.
