It depends on the dog's personality. I have a Pit Bull and her name is Angel. I didn't name her but it sure does fit her. She is an absolute doll! She is so sweet she wakes me up with kisses every morning. She is whining and barking at me right now because she wants me to get off the dang computer!!! She is my best friend (no pun intended), my companion, my sleep buddy, she sleeps between me and my boyfriend only to take his pillow when he leaves for work, and she is DEFINITELY my protector. She will let it be known that you DO NOT ENTER unless I say it's okay.

(i love the name roma, i had a sweet pitbull named roma... but.. she died:( )
but other than that its a beautiful name for a female, and Tank is perfect, because pit bulls are very muscular, and remind me of army tankers :p
