I don't which is why I am an Atheist/Agnostic. There is no way to know the truth, until you are dead yourself.

Belief could determine your afterlife destination, IF after death, we experience what we believe we will experience. And of course, this wouldn't necessarily actually be an afterlife, or at least not a very long one, as it could be a sort of 'death dream' that occurs at the time of death and shortly thereafter, as the brain shuts down. I think that an afterlife being part of our fundamental nature makes as little sense as an (unending) afterlife that is determined by what one believes or doesn't believe. I suppose the best reason I think this is because I have no memory of coming from such a place before growing into a young human here. Just to play the game and think about this belief question, it seems to me that an (unending) afterlife being determined by belief or unbelief would result in people going to 'the wrong place' all the time, because many who think they believe in something really don't, and many who think they don't believe in something really do. -edit- Regarding the idea of how near death experiences can't be 'just a dream' (something I've heard brought up a lot), the thing is that a near death experience is something fundamentally different from normal sleep. And I have had enough very amazing lucid dreams to know that there is indeed a state of consciousness that can occur, which *is* a dream, which also feels (yes, feels - as in the sense of touch, as well as in the quality of the state of consciousness) totally real, or near enough to give the impression of "reality."

The reason I know for a fact that I am 100 per cent correct is because
of a race of people and a special man that came from that race.
The race is all the Jewish line from Abraham to Jesus. The world has
been trying to destroy the nation of Israel for ages.Haman tried to,the
(so called)Christian crusaders from Rome tried,Stalin and Hitler tried
Islam been trying but the Jews are Gods CHOSEN People and still going strong( like the every ready bunny).
They were dispersed all over the world and Still came back HOME in 1943 and formed their own Sovern Nation.Their language had died but guess what they are now at this present time speaking in their native tong.(I will believe the God of Abraham and Jacob). God can't LIE Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
The other main reason I know that I am right is Jesus Christ himself.
If you could write everything he has done there would not be enough paper for you to write it on and if you did there would not be enough library's to put the books in.The final reason is "I know Jesus personally
and He is wonderful and all powerful and a loving Father to me.He is never late or to early always on time never sleeping and ready to answer my prayers. What is neat is that He wants everybody to come to him so
they can have what he gave me ETERNAL LIFE.When He knocks on the door of your heart open it and receive Jesus as Lord.
Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jesus is calling!!
In Christ in Love,

the mystery of life, belief, faith and unbelief is and has always been the central focus of the contemplative mind:
does it feel good?
does it make you feel honest, just?
does it engender a praisworthy thought pattern?
does it make you a better person?
Almost everyone spends his or her early years wondering about beleif, faith and unbelief:
does it bother you to wonder?
does it bother you to doubt?
does it bother you to be content?
(What holds us to the earth while birds seem free from all restraints?
Where does the wind come from, and why are all those stars in the sky?)
As we grow older many explanations are given to all these questions but new questions arise that ultimately lead to a shrug of the shoulders...

I always go were the evidence leads. If new evidence contradicts what I thought, then I change my belief.
The lack of any measurable evidence indicating the existence of a deity makes me an atheist. I would love to be convinced otherwise, but it would have to include something that can be measured, not just a big wish on my part.
So there you have it, I do wish that there was more beyond this life, but I am compelled to believe otherwise. Most people believe what they want which makes for errors most of the time.

By checking all your beliefs against what God says in scripture. and, the closer you get to Him, the more He will reveal to you. Pray, study, and you will know. God will confirm it, or let you know its wrong. But you must be truly listenening for Gods voice and know it when it comes. Because the devil speaks to us too, and you must learn to distinguish between the two. Press on with God, Seek truth and you will find it, if you are serious about finding truth and only truth, and not what best suits what truth you wnt it to be. God bless.

I know my belief is right for *me* based on my personal experiences that have led me to believe as I do. I don't believe in universal truth or that one belief fits all. I also don't believe any one religion holds absolute truth.

After many years of living, the Word is faithful!
It takes much study.
Start today! Be patient with yourself, it takes time. It is worth it.
Philippians 2:12-13
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Read this, and pray that God opens your heart to the straight path.
004:171] O people of the Scripture (Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allâh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Îsâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allâh and His Word, ("Be!" – and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rûh) created by Him; so believe in Allâh and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allâh is (the only) One Ilâh (God), Glorified is He (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allâh is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.
[004:172] The Messiah will never be proud to reject to be a slave of Allâh, nor the angels who are the near (to Allâh). And whosoever rejects His worship and is proud, then He will gather them all together to Himself.
[004:173] So, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness, He will give them their (due) rewards – and more out of His bounty. But as for those who refused His worship and were proud, He will punish them with a painful torment. And they will not find for themselves besides Allâh any protector or helper.
[004:174] O mankind! Verily, there has come to you a convincing proof (Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) from your Lord; and We sent down to you a manifest light (this Qur'ân).
[004:175] So, as for those who believed in Allâh and held fast to Him, He will admit them to His Mercy and Grace (i.e. Paradise), and guide them to Himself by a Straight Path.

My beliefs are PART of the truth. Just as with the Athiests, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc.
I know because of introspection. (looking within for truth) is the beginning to actually finding it.
