I've fed the poor, aided the sick, and gave money and companionship to the homeless.

If you would read Matthew 25:31-46, you find that this is the judgment of the nations when He returns to reign on the earth. Matthew 25: 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: These are Gentiles Nations that have helped the Nation of Israel in the tribulation period. Matthew 25: 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. The church the body of Christ has been caught off the earth and God is dealing with Israel again. The promise made to Abraham will be in effect again. Genesis 12: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Here is what I believe this verse means.
When Jesus Christ spoke of His Brethren, He was speaking of the Elect of God. This also includes the ones that made a free will choice to accept Jesus Christ as Lord.

So, if you treat His with respect, you are treating God with respect. The same goes for the reversal.><>

Loving and being a mom to my baby girl...making a warm and comfortable home that is welcoming for my husband...going over to my friend's house to help her with household duties; she's got five children and one on the way...watching my other friend's children free of charge...
So what, kudos to me? I think not...it's only by God's grace that I'm able to do anything. And it's not my works that make Him love me...He loved me before I even knew Him. My works won't get me to heaven...my faith in Jesus Christ does. :)

If you assist ANYONE (not just a Christian) or help to relieve the suffering of anyone God will look on that act as if you helped Jesus in person. (like the person who carried the cross instead of Jesus for part of Calvary).

He also said that which you did NOT do to the least of His brethren, you didn't do it to Him...

Another thought: It appears these people here are granted salvation based on works...

Nothing. But I think George W. Bush, and his billionaire cronies, should be worried.
