When a RS user decides to post question about Islam or Muslims, he/she has to either sound bigoted or just plain stupid. You rarely see an intelligent or constructive question posted about such subject.

The question just may seem unintelligent to you because you may be very knowledgeable on the subject. The only unintelligent question is one unasked. What questions like that do is give you the opportunity to educate (assuming you know a lot about Islam). I'd rather someone without knowledge ask for answers than to walk around thinking they know the truth when they don't. Keep in mind that some people on here enjoy provoking others, and it's usually pretty easy to point them out. Just ignore them.

This is weird, no? It seems like everyone tends to want to glorify their own religion and make one better than the other or more important, true, or right. I see this all the time. The most important anyone can do whether they are practicing Christianity or the Islam religion is to respect people. It's so easy to attack what someone else believes when there are flaws in their own beliefs.
What people tend to forget is that we are all different and being different will not prevent or propel you into heaven. This is only done by good deeds, meaning ALL good deeds being done.

Actually, I have put a few up in support of Islam, and the Muslims jumped all over me for it. I just quit asking questions where Islam was a factor.

That I think reflects the view of lots of people about Islam or Muslims. What they need to remember is that there are many, many highly intelligent and humanitarian people among Muslims too. Or, how would a Muslim win one of this year's Nobel prize ?

maybe you just see it as bigoted. i know that Muslims got offended when i asked if Christians where allowed in mecca and their answers were rude, but that was a sincere question.
