Yes, a person could have their wedding during that time. There are certain times during the year when a person cannot get married such as during the counting if the Omer, during 'The 3 weeks' (in the Jewish month of Av) which usually fall in July, and in the time of mourning after a family member has passed away. Other than those few times, a Jewish person could get married any time they desire! Are you getting married? Congratulations!

I dont think it would be proper those 8 days are set aside to celebrate yom Kippar, good luck finding a Rabbi to do the ceremony.

I'm not a rabbi, and it's an interesting question. Since during those 8 days between the two holidays is a time of spiritual reflection, I don't know if a rabbi would be willing to do so. Then again, it's different with each movement.

yes, but i wouldn't. this tiem is supposed to be spent apologizing to people for the wrong you have done. not the best time to want people to be thinking of wedding
