France has traditionally been a Catholic nation at almost 95%. There are very small groups of Protestants and it has the largest Jewish population in Europe. Many Muslims from Asia are also moving in.

Church attendance in France is 10%. They were a Christian nation, but grew out of it. Good for them! Most of Europe is ex-Christian now, especially Northern Europe.
