EVERYTIME i clean the cat litter box my male unneuterd cat climbs in there and watches me and waits till im done why does he do this?? is he territorial??

Cats HATE unclean boxxes, so being the curious cats they are, they are thrilled when it's clean, they even start messing with it to make sure you got everything. Some cats will only go after you clean, they are very fastidious!

I have had cats all of my life and all of my cats did this! They love clean litter. My cat Gracie would gripe every morning until I cleaned her litter first thing before I even got to the bathroom my self! and I had to clean her litter before I could brush my teeth or have coffee or anything. The Litter came first! She had me trained well! I had her for 16 years and I miss her very much! I now have a very sweet cat named Mia. She is not as picky about her litter but I have a felling she will be because I am a well trained human.

Does he go to the bathroom right after you clean it? If so, he just prefers a clean potty and is waiting for you to finish!
Or maybe he is just interested in what you are doing.
Or maybe he gets pleasure watching you clean up his waste.
Okay question for you.......why don't you get your cat neutered?

No. He's happy to have a clean place to use the bathroom. Just wait til he's done and scoop it out.
