If he chews something in particular, find him something of a similar material that can be his. Lots of great toys out there but one cat likes this while another likes that. To add to the fun, get an old shoe box and cut several holes in it around the sides and one in the top that are big enough for the toys to be fished out by a stretched out paw. Put the toys in that. It's just a much better game if they can play hunt.

I've had cats for years and I find this to be all cats fave. Get a stick around 2 1/2 feet long, tie a string to one end. Then take an empty cigarette pack and twist it in the middle then tie the other in around the middle of the pack. The cat will chase it anywhere on anything and it could last a long time and not hurt the cat. Oh yea, doesn't really cost anything. Enjoy.

Get him some of the stuffed catnip toys. He may not be real interested in the catnip yet, but he'll enjoy the toy. Also fuzzy toy mice are good too. When my cat was younger he loved them. Growled, threw them around just like a real mouse. Also dry food will help with teething also.

go to the craft section of the store, get some pipe cleaners & some 1" pom poms. Very inexpensive and you get a lot of toys! Curl the pipe cleaner around a pencil & give it to the kitten. You could also get some catnip and shake the pom poms & currled pipe cleaners in it if you kitten likes catnip.

something that has a bell on it or that they might throw around the room. additionally they like the toys that are a string with generally feathers or a toy on it linked to a stick i don't understand what they're referred to as yet they're those which you will play with the kittens with. they have packs of toys at petsmart and walmart that comprise mice, balls with bells interior, and the persist with the string. you additionally can get them catnip. As for selfmade toys you are able to in all possibility use a shoelace to play with them, yet yarn is undesirable for them through fact that is pulled aside and swallowed. provide them a fleece blanket my cats love them. Cats additionally love packing packing containers.

Take some foil and roll it into a ball and roll it across the kitchen floor. Kittens love that.
