My cat is constantly licking me how do i get him to break this habit?

If its a youngster, its habit because of the mom, if it is older, it is because your cat is giving you the greatest complement. It's grooming you like it would one of it's own furry family. I say, enjoy the bath !

If their behavior is bothersome to you, try purchasing a pet product called Grannick's Bitter Apple Spray. You can get it at any pet supply store and it is usually under $10. The bitter apple product is most commony applied directly to the pet to prevent them from excessive chewing or licking. So it is safe to apply to yourself. Kitty will not like the taste and should soon stop licking you. I used this stuff to get a cat to stop eating my plants. Works like a charm!!!

It is depending on where this cat is licking.
I mean, this shows, to me, that he likes you. There is nothing wrong with your cat showing affection to you.
You could put something on you that would make your cat not lick you any more. You should call your veternerian and see what you can do to get him to stop.
