no. you are actually getting pimples from your toothbrush. certain types of pimples are caused by viruses. your toothbrush keeps touching pimples on your skin, and then touches parts of your face that did not have pimples before, which spreads the virus and results in more pimples.

I've never heard of toothpaste causing pimples, but it is true that paste toothpastes can help dry up and heal pimples, often overnight. Before going to bed just put a little dab of paste toothpaste on a pimple, rub it in a little, and you're good to go. I've heard that the gels won't work, just the paste.

When I was a teenager we used to put toothpaste on a pimple to get rid of the pimple. In the meantime I have learned that toothpastes contain fluoride, and fluoride is one of the major factors that cause Alzheimer's dis-ease. I suggest you eat more organic foods and stay away from over-the-counter applications as they are a major cause of pimples and acne.

You are probably reacting to some ingredient in that brand. Try baking soda for a while & see what happens. My father in law is 82 & used baking soda every day of his life & still has every single one of his teeth, so it is an effective cleaner.
