in dream terminology, the death symbol means the ending and beginning of something. Some sort of thing is ending in your life and it is perfectly ok. The fact that nobody could see or hear you the next day in your dream could be symbolic of that thing ending for you and you no longer have access or are on it's path.
Our subconscious minds commune on an unexplained level with something we can't explain. Maybe it is Allah, maybe god, maybe the goddess. We don't really know. Do not worry. It is a symbolic something. That is all. The fact that you can remember your dreams is awesome.

Don't be scared, sometimes growing hormones can cause these bad dreams. I know because I went through the same sort of mystic type dreams. Avoid anything involving tension and stress and they will pass.

What you can do to calm your nerves is try and talk to a parent that you are feeling stress in a bad way, and that you would like to see the doctor for a 1 weeks worth prescription for a low dose Valium.
This will help you to enter into a more relaxed state of mind and things will return to normal. By the weeks end you'll no longer need it and will feel much better socially at school, with friends and at home.

Did you see a scary movie or read a murder related book the night before?
Our dreams(those that we can remember atleast) are usually an exaggeration of a combination of the things we did during the night.whenever i see a scary movie before bedtime i always dream about ghosts and devils.
It can also be a reflection of a personal experience. Did you lose any of your family members recently? The grief can become a nightmare.
Theres nothing to worry. relax for a while and you will be fine..

I think there are several ways to look at this. First of all, I don't know whether you're afraid your dream might be prophetic. According to a book on Shamanism that I read, if you have a really vivid dream, that might be your animal spirit trying to tell you that something real is going to happen. The way to avoid it is to sit down and replay it in your mind. Once it's happened in your mind, it won't happen in reality.[1] Don't know if it's true, but it's an interesting idea. :-)
Some Native Americans hang dream catchers over their pillows (high enough so it doesn't bonk your head obviously :) ) to "catch" bad dreams and only let in good ones. Traditionally, a dreamcatcher is made with a willow branch that is wrapped around in a circle and tied with cords. Cords are also tied across it to make sort of a web or mesh across it. Feathers are tied onto it and they hang down form the bottom. I made one for myself and my dreams have been a lot better. I don't think there's anything supernatural about it. It's just psychology. Your dreams come from your mind, so if you tell your mind that bad dreams won't come, they won't. Dreamcatchers are a good way to do that. At least that's my theory.
Another, similar, idea would be to take a bowl of salt water and sprinkle it (not too much, just a little) around your bedroom to purify it. Say something like, "in the name of Allah, I cast out all evil". Again, I don't know if I believe in real evil spirits, but we imagine beings like the monster under the bed and the like. This helps convince our subconscious that there isn't anything bad in our bedroom and that our bedroom is a safe place to sleep. You can do the same thing by sage smudging (burning a sage bundle), but be careful not to start a fire or anything, obviously. :)
Jungian psychologists believe that dreams are communications from our subconscious. So, you might also try thinking about what this dream might be trying to communicate. What does death mean symbolically? What might your subconcious be trying to tell you? The Death card in Tarot means the end of one phase of life, but the beginning of a new. Maybe you've symbolically died internally so that a new you can be born! Maybe this isn't the end, but rather a whole new beginning of a better you. From a Jungian standpoint, as I understand it, sometimes dreams that seem like nightmares can actually be important messages even though they're scary. Sometimes, once we start listening to them, the dreams get less scary.
Finally, maybe it was just a bad dream. Another theory about dreams is that they're just random synapses firing in your brain while you sleep. Random images float up and your mind interprets them as a story of some sort. Also, sometimes when we've experienced trauma, we have bad dreams, because our subconscious gets all shaken up. So, maybe if you've recently experienced something traumatic, like having a loved one die, you might want to take some quiet time every day and slow down in your life and let yourself greive. Sometimes, that's what we need to do.
Anyway... hope some of that helps.

Normally, these dreams have to do with fear of the unknown. It could be a fear of death or possibly some other aspect of your life that seems unsure at this point. What is there in your life that makes you feel the way the dream did? More than likely this is what your dream was really about.

Don't believe in the dream dictionaries or dream analogies. Items are carelessly thrown into categories. Dreams are symbolic, yes, but only you can find their true meaning. It's not easy, but look within yourself to try and find an answer. It probably has a lot less to do with real "black images" than you think and more to do with life situations, attitudes, etc. Good luck in your search.

I had a dream once, that I was stuck outside of my body and it was totally black around me, I couldn't see anything....
I couldn't move, After a while I started to panic and I called out for Jesus.
The word instantly got brighter and then I could move.
Ive had dreams more vivid then the "real world" and Ive had dreams where I wake up in my bed only to find out that I'm still dreaming.
But no matter where I go, in this world or in the "dream world" when ever I call out to Jesus, He helps me.
It is the only consistent thing that I've found in "my life"
Just call out to Jesus.

Only through darkness can we comprehend the light. Dreams are seen as a metaphor only, they are not a vision unless they create with love. Bad dreams, stem from either something you saw Pryor that day or your own fears. peace
