John the Baptist explained why he was preparing the way for Jesus Christ by quoting the words of Isaiah, "Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God" (Isa. 40:3). The New World Translation of the Jehovah's Witnesses puts it, "Clear up the way of Jehovah…"
Matthew shows how John fulfilled this prophecy by preparing the way of Jesus Christ (3:3, 11-17).
The book of Mark begins with the announcement that God was sending John the Baptist to prepare the way of Jesus Christ saying, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight" (Mark 1:1-3). The New World Translation: "Prepare the way of Jehovah, you people, make his roads straight…" John the Baptist, in preparing the way of Christ fulfilled this prophecy. He prepared the way of Jehovah because Jehovah is Jesus Christ come in the flesh.

Luke's Gospel says that at John the Baptist's birth, his father had prophesied that John would make Jehovah's ways ready: "And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways" (Luke 1:76). New World: "…you will go in advance before Jehovah to make his ways ready". John made Jehovah's ways ready by preparing the way of Christ (Luke 3:4, 16).
In the first chapter of John's Gospel, when people asked John, "who are you?" he answered: "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias" (John 1:23. See Isa. 40:3). New World: "…Make the way of Jehovah straight…" Lets pick up the narrative three verses ahead, and see who it is talking about.

"John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not. He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose… The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world… I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water" (John 1:26-27, 29, 31).
For whom was John preparing the way? For Jehovah. That is why John was not worthy to untie His sandal, but John also called Him "Jesus" and "the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world," and said that the reason he had come was to make Him manifest to Israel. Just four verses ahead, John again identifies the Lamb of God whose way he was making straight:
"Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples, and as he looked at Jesus walking he said: 'See, the Lamb of God!'" (John 1:35).

God the Son existed with the Father before John was born. Then He came and was born here on earth so that we might know God. That's why He was called Immanuel, God with us (Matt. 1:23), and why John prepared the way for Jesus when he prepared the way for Jehovah (See also Php. 2:5-8).

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Unfortunately, you have misunderstood the Bible texts that you showed. When the Bible stated "prepare the way of Jehovah" it is in fact preparing the way for the channel of Jehovah's salvation, Jesus. In the OT, Jehovah used angels and God's loyal followers even called these angels Jehovah. Is it wrong, No. It is because Jehovah used these angels as agents and instruments to help His people and he put his name through his angels. Jesus is the WAY to the Father, he has his Father's name in him. So the people at that time were told to prepare for Jesus, the Way of Jehovah, the way for us to go the Father. The WAY, Jesus is different than his Father, Jehovah. You also added to the Scriptures and have twisted it by saying that Jesus is Jehovah. There's is no proof on that. John the Baptist CLEARLY stated that Jesus is the Lamb of God, even the Son. He didn't say that Jesus is Jehovah.

John's name means "Jehovah has shown favor" or " Jehovah has been gracious"
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd shouted "Blessed is he who comes in Jehovah's name"
Jesus came not to do his will but the will of Him that sent him.
Jesus said he could do nothing of his own initiative, but what his Father taught him, gave him, and showed him.
Jesus always glorified his Father. He made his Father's name know.
He always said "It is written" or "did you not read"
To be a witness for Jesus you can't deny the very teaching of Jesus.
Now I know how Paul felt when he wrote Rom. 10:1-3, Hebrews 5:11-14, and 2 Tim 3:4-7

Remember that whatever Jesus did he did "to the glory of God the father". Many times in the Old Testament, the prophets would say Jehovah did some sort of act, even though it was done through another person or entity. The Babylonains destroyed kingdom of Judae, but it is said that really God ordered becaue of their disobediance. This is the same with the new testament, where it is taught God accomplishes his purposes through the Lord Jesus. Jesus said:
"I have made your name known to the men you took from the world to give me." Later, he repeated: "I have made your name known to them and will continue to make it known."—John 17:6, 26, JB.
Jesus gained all of his wisdom from God:
Jn.12:49 Because I have not spoken out of my own impulse; but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what tell and what to speak.
He does only what God wills:
Jn.5:30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative, just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment I render is righteous, because I seek not my own will but the will of him that sent me.
Jn.8:28 Therefore Jesus said: When once YOU have lifted up the Son of man, then YOU will know that I am [he], and that I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things.
John 6:38:
"For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me."
When jesus is acending to heaven: "Jesus saith to her, Touch me not: for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God. (John 20:17)

Jesus existed as, "The Word" in heaven, before the Word came down to earth to become man.
Remember J.W's believe that the Arch-Angel Michael became flesh and dwelt among men, and His name was called Jesus.
J.W.'s do not believe that the One who existed in God the Father, "The Word of God" which He was called in Heaven, came down to become flesh, and His name was called Jesus, meaning "GOD WITH US."
To validate their beliefs they took the teachings of a meduim, a demonic spirit that spoke forth through the medium (teaching coming forth from ex-J.W.'s who wrote the J.W. magazines), his personal translation of "The New World Translation of the Scriptures" in order to validate that Jn 1:l "In the beginning was "the word and the word was with God, and the word was a god. {The New World Translation Translation of the Bible according to Jehovah Witnessess Religion} !!
But John 1:1 says according to the bible, "In the beginning was the Word, and The Word was with God{in the orginal greek it says "within God"} and the Word was God. And verse 14 says ...And the Word of God, became flesh and dwelt with mankind.
He was the Word Within God, and He was God, which became flesh, and He was given the name Jesus as His Father in Heaven so desired it to be. The name Jesus means "God With Us(humanity).
Stay as far away from "The New World Translation" of the bible as you can. It was originally written by a medium, a demon who spoke and wrote through the medium.
The New World Translation of the Bible contains nothing but doctrines of devils.
Hey, everyone Read my Answer too.
It doesn't matter if I receive thumbs up or 10 points or not, as long as everyone reading this knows the truth about J.W. faith and their New World Translation of the Bible.
