If he likes you I bet it is not going to be a problem. Just call him and tell him that you have a question.
P.S Come up with some question which is not related to dating or stuff.
Then ask him how he felt about you calling him?
And tell him to call you. Trust me you have made it easier for him specially if he a shy type of guy.
( I know I am a shy guy and I would love it if someone started the way like this )
Plus you got nothing to lose, right?

My instant mind thought was yes just to call and say "I hope you dont mind i got your number from such and such would you like to meet for a coffee?" Keeping in mind that this person is known enough to you that you are doing it in a safe way.I think it really depends on a wider scenario to make judgement. The other way i would think is to approach him and ask him to go for coffee or a milkshake ..what ever.Another way is to go out with a group of friends and invite him along? I would contact him but like i said it really depends on the bigger picture of how.Number one is your safety but if you are sure dont let the chance slip you by. The worst he can do is say no and just chalk it up to lifes experiences.Good Luck!

Yes, of course. Just don't do it in an annoying way (by that, i mean don't make it seem as if you're prank-calling him). A girl who was once was in love with me (I loved her too) called me, but the problem was that she got her friends to speak instead, so it turned out horrible. if she spoke to me one-on-one, I would have loved it.

9 out of 10 men agree: If a girl calls you, but you didn't give her your number, then she's a stalker.
If he doesn't automatically label you a "stalker", he might label you "clingy", "desparate", "scary", "wierd" or "controlling".
Trust me, this would REALLY freak him out, and he would NOT want to date you.

Absolutely. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. My younger son never began a relationship. The girls always stated it.

No, it really irritates me when someone calls me when I didn't give them my number myself.
