1) The love of Jesus' life was mankind, whom He came and died for, not Mary Magdalene.
2) Mary Magdalene is never called a prostitute in the Bible. The Roman Catholic Church removed this label from her in the 6th century.

First, Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute. The idea first arose in the 6th century when Pope Gregory the Great identified her with the Mary who anointed Jesus with the expensive oil. His idea was to show that God loves and forgives everyone who asks for forgiveness, no matter how serious their sin was. By suggesting that the love of Jesus' life was a prostitute, Pope Gregory was saying that even a prostitute can be a beloved of God- in other words everyone has hope for forgiveness and relationship with God. That doesn't mean its okay to commit the sin in the first place. It just means that if we have sorrow for offending God, and ask in faith for forgiveness, God is waiting to give it. Pope Gregory was right in intent, but ever since, the two Marys have been confused with each other.
We do have the obligation to "admonish the sinner" one of the spiritual works of mercy. What is sad is that there is a tendency to disproportionately condemn people who commit sexual sins. Jesus himself easily forgave the sexual sinner-the woman caught in adultery, the woman at the well, and the prostitute, Mary. He was much angrier about other sins, like hypocrisy and injustice. The issue with religious leaders is hypocrisy. A leader needs to practice what he or she preaches.

Saint Mary Magdalene was the first witness to the resurrection of Jesus. (See the 20th Chapter of the Gospel of John).
She was one of Jesus' followers during his ministry, and was present at the cross when he died.
There is some debate on whether she is the woman in Luke 7 who was a notorious sinner. Most biblical scholars believe that Mary Magdalene was not the notorious sinner.
The 8th chapter of the Gospel of Luke describes Mary Magdalene as being healed and supporting Jesus' ministry out of her means.
With love in Christ.

Where do you get "the love of Jesus' live was a prostitute?" Oh, you just saw "The DaVinci Code" didn't you!! Ok, got it.
The Bible does not say that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. And she was not the love of His life, either.

You are quoting a book listed under fiction written by a man.....not the the written Word of God. You and I and every soul on this planet are the great loves of Jesus' life. And those who are waiting on His return are His Precious Bride.

If jesus actually existed, I would give him extra points for having a prostitute for a friend. He didn't judge her, just as we shouldn't judge prostitutes, homosexuals etc

We don't know for sure that Mary was Jesus's love (as in romantic love).
Also, we don't know for sure that Mary was a prostitute.
