no, not always, it depends on the person judging. i have seen people treat others mercilessly when a somebody didn't make a mistake at all.

remember, there are merciless people without the need to make a mistake or be less than perfect.

Not everyone judges people. There are actually some Christians out there who do forgive. You can't just go by one or some Christians out their. They do not Speak for the entire christian people. You may not see the Christians who do forgive cause the news media does not want you to see those who forgive the sinner's. But there are Christians and Believers of other Faith's who do Forgive!

I believe that mistakes happen to give us the opportunity to forgive.

True mercy (and love) is the willingness to forgive before forgiveness is warranted.

If you spent your life telling me that using a computer was wrong, and I found you in a hotel with a laptop, I would have every right to judge you.

That only happens when that person is a hypocrite, like Ted Haggard.

Haggard made a living telling people how to act and how to raise families. He was exposed privately doing the exact same thing that he publicly condemned -- the exact same thing that he so loudly told OTHER people that they COULDN'T do. He deserves everything he gets.

Are you referring to Ted Haggard? What he did was hardly a 'mistake'. Hypocrisy by a public figure should be condemned
as a breach of common decency.

Because people love to beat up on others, not realizing they are just as guilty of the same types of things.

Generally speaking people can sometimes be real morons that don't see how bad they themselves are.
