Yes you should drop him. If he is not respectful of you and what you want, then it will only get worse. He is asking you to skip school for him, (college or high school) if it is High School, then he is asking you to break rules and the law for him. If you are in college, then he is asking you to give up on your dreams and not better yourself, either way he is a selfish jerk. You should dump him now. It will hurt, but in the long run you will be better off. Make sure you take time to get over him and be comfortable being single before you get into another realtionship. The worst thing that you can do is rebound into a relationship out of lonliness.

You should never do something that someone else is "making you do". It sounds like your boyfriend has an issue with power. Those people are better left alone. He certainly doesn't have your best interest at heart, if you aren't making your own decisions. Please listen to your gut instincts and follow your heart to the path you know is right. There are other guys out there, if you must date, that don't have power issues - and appreciate other human beings who have ideas of their own. Showing your strength, by standing up for what you believe in, is a respectable quality (one that is appreciated by most).

Why do you do it then? To make him happy? To please him? What about you? We all, well older folks have done things for people that we did not want to, to make someone happy, or to build trust--but in the end if you do not do it from your heart it will come out. If you are doing things that do not make you happy, tell him and if he does not want to deal with it, it is up to you if you want to keep doing it. I would stop, but I can say that now, I know better, be yourself!! God will send you the right one

Does he know that you do not want to do these 'things'? What will the repercussions be if you do not do them? Before you make a rush decision communicate with him. If the respect of your position and feelings aren't there then it's still your decision to make. Best Wishes!

I mean like what?
All I know is if u are changing who u r as a person, or compromising beliefs or your morals in any way just for him, then yes...u need to ditch him. Someone who truly loves u would not ask that of u.

Depending on what things he makes you do? If they are degrating or illegal then I would drop him like a bad habit but if you just don't want to do them then talk to him about how you feel.

You already know the answer to this. Do you like getting treated like a piece of trash?? Or would you rather find a guy who treats you with respect?? Figure it out.

How about good old fashioned- talking! Say what is on your mind and let him know how you feel, he cannot read your mind. Once you open up and tell him about how you really feel, he should concede, if he doesn't- then drop him!!!!

It's sad that you even ask a question like that. Don't you have any self esteem? Does this guy own you? Are you willing to be someone's slave? Why are you allowing yourself to be used and abused?
