I've got a Polaroid Digital camera and though it's very good and easy to use it's not quite as good as my wife's Fuji, but it's better than my sister's Hewlett Packard.
My Polaroid tends to be a bit slow on the recharge but the pictures it does are very good even on the lowest quality setting. It comes with a software disc but you can access it directly as a USB device and get your pictures off that way instead. I took some in Edinburgh which are frankly quite astonishingly vivid and just as good as film, and I took some at Conisborough Castle which show every detail. My wife's photos with the Fuji Finepix however were even better, so if I was going to buy a new camera that's what I'd get.

Polaroid is in bankruptcy. Also, they bet their future on instant film and were late getting on the digital bandwagon. Add that to the lack of development funding and it doesn't make a pretty picture.
I would look at the major digital players, Canon, Nikon, Olympus and maybe Sony and Fuji. They all make quality digicams at a fair price. Almost every digicam will have a LCD screen. It's a viewfinder that's becoming hard to find!
Good luck!

This 16MB of storage which you have will possibly in elementary terms carry 5-6 pictures on your digital camera. This sought of acts like a decrease back up on your memory card in case you like a pair of extra pictures. This inner memory storage should not be depended on for universal use, birthdays, events etc. it is in elementary terms a backup! i desire to propose you get your self an exterior memory Card it extremely is properly suited which includes your digital camera, maximum ideally, your digital camera could take an SD Card yet some s selection. in case you desire to take lots of pictures, could i desire to propose a 512MB Card a minimum of and in case you could, get a 1GB Card! do no longer remember heavily on the digital camera's inner storage!

Personally I would go for digital any day. Please don't be fooled by mega pixels though. People pay a lot more for high mega pixels. If it has 3.5 or more it's as good as anything higher. Unless you want prints larger than A4 it's as good a quality. Hope you enjoy it either way.
