does this girl like me or is just playing with my head ????

Question

i am 16 years old. i like this girl in my english. i'll talk to her once in a while but she know that i like her. one day before lunch my friend walked up to me and told me that she liked me and then later that day one of her friends walked up and told me that she was talking about me. the next day i walked up to her and asked her if she liked me and she said NO. i asked her if she wanted to hang out on the weekend but she said no that she was punished i also asked her phone number and she told me her parents took it away. i told one kid and that kid went on to tell everyone that i liked her. her friend sent me an email on myspace telling me that she was talking about but that she hates how some kids are all over her about this. she told me to don't give her any attention because then she is going to miss all the attention i was giving her and she was going to want me. i didnt want to do that because then she would think i lost interest in her. like sometimes she would walk up to me in the hallway and tell me to get out of her way but she would smile. another time we were messing with laptops in my english and she called me over to help her, and then there was another time that she went to go get something out of her bookbag and when she turned around i waved at her and smiled and she smiled right back. everyone told me to make a move and talk to her but everytime i would some kids would start laughing and looking at me when im bout to talk to her and that got me distracted. i hear that she is a little hoe but at first i didnt want to believe it but a couple of days ago i saw her all over some other guy. i dont know what i should do. i've had been ignoring her for 2 days as well as she has been ignoring me. but 4 days ago i ignored her but she came up behind me and pushed me but she started 2 smile and then b4 class started she came up next to me and started 2 look at my psp and 2day she says hi 2 me and tells me she can beat me in any video game and she was smiling and then y i walked by her and tapped her on her shoulder and she started to tickle me and then when i tried doing it on her she was squirming around and smiling. then yesterday i was sitting down and one friends starts calling her a nasty girl he was just playing around and then he shoved her and she said dont touch me and then i pushed her and she pushed me back. then she told me she saw my myspace pics and she was smiling. she also grabbed my brush from my pocket and started playing around with it and then put it back.she also asked me for my phone and then started to spin it around. idk then when we were in the pep rally i tap her on her shoulder and she looks at me but with a sad, mad expression but yet she had a smile. i dont not know what to do.

When you're 16 sometimes you take things too seriously and if you do, you end up wondering what every smile and every frown means and you start taking it personally.

I suggest you just take it easy and relax. She's sending mixed signals, so just wait patiently until the dust settles and then make your move. Don't let anyone else influence your decision and leave that damaging gossiping out of the process. It's just that: damaging.

You're keeping track of almost every single direct or indirect social interaction you've had with her. I've been there and done that and I must say it's not a good thing. Stop brooding so much about it, relax and just be yourself. Things have and uncanny way of taking care of themselves in ways we do not expect.

Wow! She's a confusing girl! I would say that maybe she doesn't know what she wants or feels. I certainly wouldn't worry about it as you are. And I certainly wouldn't worry about having a serious relationship. I was in a serious relationship at 16 years old and we broke up when I was 21. I totally regret it as I missed out on so much because I was tied down. I am now 25 and married and please listen to me - just relax and give it time. She probably likes you but, at the same time, may not want anything serious. Play it cool and have fun. Believe me - you'll look back and be glad that you did!

She does like you she just doesn't want you to know it and if you take it from a girl you will understand. Would you tell someone that you liked them and admit it no because it would make you look silly and that's what she's trying to hide and from my opinion she was all over the other guy because she wanted you to see that and she wanted to see you get jealous I mean what type of person likes someone and doesn't show some kind of feeling? People show feelings like that all the time either if it is jealousy or starring or talking or helping out ect they still like you and they still have feelings they just want to hide it. You should really not worry about this she likes you and definitly and you should make her jealous because if you do nothing then she would like another girl and the sad part is that she liked you first. Plus you will get to watch her get jealous of you.

its not what she does, but HOW she does it i guess.

if she likes you you could find her looking at you once in a while, like in english class, or in the hall. oh i love "in the hall" interactions. when someone likes you, they scans for you, and then makes sure they looks nice. depending on how close you guys are, she may try to get eye contact and maybe a little "hey". (this is at least what i do, and what this guy who likes me does too.)

once question i have is...does she act this way towards all boys? if so, she could be a flirt. if not, well, she is probably interested in you.
