its our baby, his ears stick out quite a bit and I know from experience that when you are older people give you a hard time about it. I heard there was something sticky that you can use to encourage them to grow more normal?

I think people should take each other as they are! BIg ears or not, there are a lot more things that could be wrong with a person let alone a child. A persons image changes so much over their lifetime. Come on...

Models on the front of magazine covers, billboards and store fronts, were not all born perfect. Some have bad hair, moles, or even larger than normal ears. In a case where the model has big ears, the make-up artists have been known to tape or glue ears back slightly. Using regular hosehold glue or tape would not be wise. Do some research to see what is commonly used.

My sister had hers pinned back on the NHS. She had 2 apps with our local doctor who put her forward, she went in at 9am on the morning and was home by 4pm the same day! Dependant on where the actually stick out, the ear may be bent of the just may stick out cos of the way they are attached to you. My sister had the skin cut behind her ears, and some took away, so when re-attached they were pulled in and tiny little stitched at the tops of her ears to hold them in place. It did seem quite painful and she had 2 keep the bandanges on for 2 weeks then for months after sleep with like headbands around her ears, but now she loves them, she ties her hair back and has no pain what so ever, you cant even see her scars!!! its made her much happier!!!!

Nope my brother had to have a surgery that replaced the cartalige in his ears and if that is the same problem I would be aware because his never stayed. About 6 months later they popped right back out.

if your a baby you can get things that go in the top part of your ear and get taped back the later you leave it the longer they have to stay in for as for older children and adults not sure.

Wear a wooly hat that you can pull down to the ears, the band will pull them back... and this is the right season for it, it's pretty cold...

Why bother, Prince Charles doesn't seem to mind. We all have slight imperfections.

No, you will need surgery. But it's a very common op and very quick, so don't worry.
