We've been dating for a month now. He expressed exclusivity. He even referred to me as his girlfriend. He said he told his friends about me. And yet...one time he got a call from someone and told the caller "I'm just chillin out here at (place) with my FRIEND, Elise". Should I feel bad?

Yes youshould feel bad and front him up tell him hey if Iam your girlfriend then tell people I am your girlfriend! Not friend put your foot down if you give a man a inch trust me they will take a mile. Don't bite your tongue You can talk about things that bother you without getting in his face

Don't feel bad. If you have only been dating for one month, he may just be trying not to be too forward. If you feel a little insecure about it, just ask him.
Give it some time and don't rush the guy into it too early, especially if you really like him. Let it happen

Ask him what that was all about and how it bothered you. You two should not be bf/gf only on his terms. That is BS. Let him know that you need to know the two of you are on the same page because you aren't going to waste your time on him if nothing is coming out of it!

Maybe you are a girlfriend to him at thesame time a friend.. So you will never feel bad, if you really love him you can understand him. Or try to talk with him about it.

Not enough info to guess. It could mean that he also considers you a friend, it could be that he was talking to another woman and didn't want her to know he had a girlfriend.
Us women read WAY too much into things sometimes.

Well from my point of veiw he thinks of you as a girlfriend and a friend.So if i was you i woldnt worry time is just going by so fast hes getting confused

It depends on who was calling him. Maybe it was one of his "parents" and he didn't want them to know he has a "girlfriend".
Your relationship is very "new" and I wouldn't be overly concerned about his comment. If it bothers you, then ask him what he meant.

no, maybe he didn't want to tell the caller that you were his girlfriend. your taking this like its a big deal, and its not. don't worry about it.
if it happens more and more, THEN you should worry about it.

No, you shoudent, i have zoned out and forgot that my gf was there, and i accidentally said friend too.
so i dont think you should feel bad.

two possibilties
1) it was another girl
or
2) maybe it was someone that he cant talk about his love life with, like his parent or grandparents
