This Korean guy makes fun of me. I don't know why.?

Question

In 6th grade, he threw crumbled papers at my head. I was really mad. But now I'm in 8th grade but I have accents. I read this paper in class, and I couldn't pronounce a stupid name of a person. Everyone laughed at me. Even the teacher did. I was so embarassed.
I'm a Korean gurl. Is he making fun of me and stuff just because I'm Korean?There are no other Korean gurls in our school. There are more kids in my class who have accents, so why is he picking on me?He also stares at me.I'm so pissed off.I hate him.Why is he doing this??and when we're reading out loud in class, he always calls on me.I think he is trying to embarass me in front of the whole class because I have accents.People say my accents aren't that bad...He was also in my summer school.
He made fun of me in my summer school.I admit that I'm weird and shy and everything but why does he have to make fun of me? I hate him. He's smarter than me.He's in advanced math, and I'm not. But I still get all A's! why is he doing this?

Don't worry there's nothing wrong w/ you. You are very smart. and just because this guy is good at Math doesn't mean he's smarter than you. that's just one subject. Think of it this way - those kids that are laughing at you, about how many of those kids do you think make straight A's like you do? They're probably just jealous. Trust me - I have learned this from experience. Kids used to act like they hated me cuz I made way better grades than they did. Don't worry - it's not always gonna be that bad. I've been in high school for a couple years now and people don't really make fun of me at all anymore. There was this guy who used to treat me the way this guy you're talking about treats you, and he doesn't bother me at all anymore. In fact, I think he's actually scared of me now! lol! Chances are he probably likes you, either that or he's really hateful. If he likes you, he doesn't show it very well and your best bet would be to stay away from him. You could ask him why he thinks he has to be so hateful to him. It might be because he likes you OR because you are Korean too & he won't get into trouble if he makes fun of his own kind. Why don't you just ask him if he does it because you are Korean. Almost everyone who has been in the sixth grade will tell you that they felt like they were weird at some time. It is just a part of growing up. Your teacher should NOT have laughed at you & they owe you an apology for doing so. Perhaps the teacher was only laughing at the fact they they also have problems trying to pronounce certain names. But they should have more control because students can get their fellings hurt in misunderstandings like this one. Ask to have your seat moved away from this boy if he is bothering you so much. That way, you won't be getting so angry.

Okay, I think I'm having a misunderstanding.
Is it you that is Korean, or the boy, or both?
I'm also Korean, and in 8th grade, but I've lived in the US my whole life, and I don't speak Korean thus don't have an accent.
You also should not hate him no matter what!
You should kick his ***!
He wont try to humiliate you again!
Show him you aren't going to be pushed around, and stand up for yourself!
Who cares if he's "smarter" he's just an ignorant bully trying to make fun of you because you have an accent.
You can also call him dirty things in Korean if you'd like. That makes me feel better.

Ugh yes I noticed it all the time!!! Most of the time when you go into an Asian market or restaurant they always look at you and laugh. They just stares. Cover their mouths with one hand and murmur to one another. It's annoying and I just wanna punch them in the face. I laugh back and bull dog them back that's what I do. Be bitchy back is what you should do. No one is going to out b i t ch me!! Of course the professional thing is to tell the owner or the manager of the store/restaurant, that those girls are being rude to you or just say that they are being annoying/loud ect. and they are making you uncomfortable. Create something up to get them in trouble. Tell the manager that you will not go there anymore if they don't stop!! In my experiences, most Asian are rude and mean. Good luck!!:)

I was picked on in the 6th grade too!The whole class hated me and made fun and I wanted to crawl away an die. I told my mom and everything but nothing helped. I have been out of school for almost 30 years now and I still have alot of hard feelings about the kids who teased me. I finally decided that they were worse off than me, they had nothing in their sorry , sad lives to do but pick on me. This guy has such a bad feeling about himself, that the only way he can feel better is to make fun of you. Yeah, you hate him, but try feeling sorry for him and his pathetic life.

Sometimes when a boy likes a girl he picks on her to the point that is drives you crazy. But that may not be the reason. He may think that your accent is cute and likes to hear you talk. These are a couple of positive things to think about. If you feel up to it maybe you could try asking him.

He'll back off any racial jokes you can throw at him. And since you are Korean you won't be accused of being a racist.

He might like you. Just make fun of him back. Just be like, "Number 1, It's mighty funny how you're always making fun of me when we have the same nationality. Number 2, for somebody who doesn't like me, you're sure always staring at me. And number 3, tell him to shut up and get some business of his own, and quit minding yours.
