I am 25 but find myself attracted to girls that are approx. 16-18. I do not act on these attractions, but it just feels wrong. What do you think?

Age difference is a problem until both of you have reached your 20's.
Start to keep a distance, so neither one of you gets into trouble. Don't play flirty games; it's not safe. You'll get hurt and if you really like them, you won't want them to get hurt either.
Give girls your age a chance. You may have insecurities and feel not in control of relationships when someone is your equal. You have to get over that and appreciate your peers. Keep looking for someone your age who is not overbearing but compatible with you.
You also may be trying to live in the past, when you had less responsiblities.
Move on.

Well... as long as you don't act on it... there's not much wrong with it. 16-18yr olds are often quite mature, physically... I can see why a guy would be interested. However there IS that little thing called statutory rape... in which a minor CANNOT legally consent to ... well... yeah. Even then... I think they have to be under 16... but I know there's a "5yr" rule too... not sure if that would apply to older girls. In any case... if you were 35 and attracted to 26 yr olds... there'd be nothing wrong with it. The twenties is a tough age for that one. Ten years older sounds almost gross, ten years younger... same thing. However once you're 30 & beyond... ten years is nothing.
I don't think that finding these girls attractive makes you a pedophile or anything like that. But you figure... girls that age TRY to look good. A lot of the time, women your age don't care as much anymore. Some of us do... but a lot don't. I think your fine... just make sure you ask for ID before you take a girl home. LOL

There is a big difference between thinking someone is attractive or looking at them, and actually doing something about it. There isn't anything wrong with being attracted to 17 year olds. If you find yourself attracted to 12 year olds then yes, you have a problem. Doesn't matter how old you get, those 17 year old are probably still going to be attractive to you. Funnily enough though, the older you get the more your tastes will change. When you are 30 you might be attracted to girls in their early 20's etc. Or you might suddenly develop a liking for older women. Just stay legal and look but don't touch!

It's ok to have feelings for a girl that is 18. Your not that much older and it's legal. I'm not going to put you down because your only human. Just don't act out the feelings you have for the 16 year olds. That would be a huge mistake.

Girls are really really hot around this age. Nothing wrong with having good tastes. Remember though that anything under 18 is forbidden no matter what. Find yourself a nice 18yr old to go out with and quench your thirst for younger women and not have to worry about the law comming after you. Theres plenty of mature 18yr olds who would want to date a mature person too.

Have u seen Dateline's "To Catch A Predator" shows?
Cmon....18 is one thing b/c legally, that is considered an adult...but 16...cmon dude. Why would u even want a 16 year old GIRL!!!
You could get in serious trouble doing that, and u would deserve it if u did.
You should watch one of those shows. They come on Friday nights....and let it sink in if that's what u would want to happen to u. B/c even though on those shows they concentrate on online predators, u would still get in trouble for statutory rape for a girl under 18.
So to anser your question....yes it is wrong.

It's nothing wrong with that...age ain't nothing but a number. Just don't mess with any girls younger than the age of 18 until they turn 18...you can get in serious trouble if you do.

Because it is wrong. Depending in what state you live in, 18 and over is the age of consent. Anything underneath that is wrong and very dangerous. Good thing you don't act on them. Find women that are near your age and stay out of trouble.

Well, if you didn't use the screen name "big nasty", I would say it's not a bad thing. But I have some serious doubts about your intentions now. As long as you keep it at 18 and above and it's consentual, there's no problem...unless you're looking for someone to use and abuse. I hope that's not the case.

Stick with 18 and up. If im not mistaken 17 and under will get you locked up!
