I have never owned a 69 charger' I have owned 4 -440 cars. If you ever sit behind a well built 440 and you like to go fast there is no other like it. Except' Right now i own a 68 Super Bee with a 413 max wedge and a 4 speed. Way stronger than a 440 and not a Chevy that can hold a candle to it. Not even a 454. Just my 2 cents.

YES I agree.
Expand that to include the 1968 Charger and you really have something.
The two cars were identical underneath, just had a slightly different grille and taillights. The body style was just the greatest thing in its day.
It looked muclular and fast just sitting still.
The big bucket seats were very comfortable.
I know I had one for many years and loved it.
I intend to have another one before I die. Watch me go.........

I am a FORD fan , and in the 60's and 70's you hated the competition . Today I can appretiate the american muscle cars. I would say the 69 charger is hot , but about 8th on the most popular list .

that's a difficult question...the muscle cars was what we made them in the day....everyone has their favorite from the charger to the torino....I had a 68 and 69 charger...and gotta say...I did love them..I am a chrysler man...built right..the charger was hard to beat. there was a lot of steel in it.
It also came with a variety of engines...most big block ...383, 426 (my favorite) and the 440....bad **** engine there. This is one that could be debated for a long time....but yes...the charger is a classic...love it.

I had a '69 Roadrunner.. I preferred the body style (very similar) with the 383 - 4barrell, 4 gear with Hurst shifter.. Wish I still had it!

Sure is cool , but not the best, in my opinion. I'll take a 1970 Camaro. I'm not saying the camrao is the best either, I just would love to own one, fully restored of course.
