Boogers are just dust and pollutants from the world that get caught by our nostril hair. I don't think it's "bad" if you eat them.... but I wouldn't go out of my way for health benefits. It IS a booger, after all.

eew. I highly doubt it. Boogers, aside from mucus that is already in your nasal passage is also made up of all the dirt and particles in the air that have passed through your nose, but the little hairs in your nose luckily kept them out.

It will have no effect on your health.

The mucus that makes up snot is already produced in your stmoach as a thick lining to prevent the acid form burning through your stomach.

As for the dirt and dust particles, you breathe in that same stuff anyway every time you inhale. It won't hurt you.

Let's just say it this way. It's your BOOGER (BACTERIA NASTY STUFF) in your nose being transferred to your MOUTH then your STOMACH then down. It's kind of nasty! I don't think it's healthy eitherwise doctors would recommend it!

Hey guy- I was actually eating when I read this question! Jeeezzz! - Anyway, I wouldn't do that because there is bacteria in our nasal passage.

Grossness aside, they are nature's way of filtering out dirt and dust and whatnot that you breathe in. So they couldn't possibly be healthy for that reason.

Probably not as good for you as eating an orange.
