I never went out with him but was so obsessed with him. Now I've moved on and am actually happy we will never be together. He is too immature and changed too much. So why am I still hurt when he pays the kind of attention to other girls that he used to give to me? How can I stop it? This really doesn't make much sense because I am over him.

It all boils down to you wanting attention. You want this guy to pay attention to you even though you have no feelings for him. Your jealous because the attention is not on you. You can't expect it to be about you anymore. It doesn't work like that.

Maybe ur not really over him...you still wish that those girls he flirts with were you. Yes he might have changed but I dunno...you say ur obsessed...why? You should talk to him and see if he likes you.

Emotional pain lingers for a lifetime...it gets less and less memorable over time, but never goes away.
