No. The artifacts have been proven false, and the written accounts are hearsay. There is no writing or record contemporary to Christ that mentions him. The earliest writings, attributed to Josephus are suspect for 2 reasons. The first is that Josephus wasn't born until 37 CE (after the supposed crucifixion). Secondly, his writings were inspired by a bishop named Eusebius. (From nobeliefs.com) Eusebius who served as an ecclesiastical church historian and bishop. He had great influence in the early Church and he openly advocated the use of fraud and deception in furthering the interests of the Church [Remsberg]. The first mention of Jesus by Josephus came from Eusebius (none of the earlier church fathers mention Josephus' Jesus). It comes to no surprise why many scholars think that Eusebius interpolated his writings. In his Ecclesiastical History, he writes, "We shall introduce into this history in general only those events which may be useful first to ourselves and afterwards to posterity." (Vol. 8, chapter 2). In his Praeparatio Evangelica, he includes a chapter titled, "How it may be Lawful and Fitting to use Falsehood as a Medicine, and for the Benefit of those who Want to be Deceived" (book 12, chapter 32).

Press 1 to request a copy of our catalog for our artifact gift shop.
Press 2 to request a copy of our catalog for our empirical data gift shop.
The simple reality: as a BELIEVER (ie, one who has faith in the one true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus) I don't need either an "artifact or other piece of empirical data". I also know that NOTHING would provide enough "proof" for people who refuse to believe.

I have a skateboard that some Dude said was His. It does have magical and miraculous properties to it so I think it could be the real deal and it has in Aramaic script on the bottom of it the property of Jesus of Nazareth. I traded a knock off Les Paul guitar and an old amp for it back in the eighties. I stand by my decision, it's a great skate board; either way!!!

Please be advised that there is no proof as to his existence. Human beings are such flawed creatures with their own wants, needs and agendas, they can not be trusted to keep an accurate record of the past. Even their emotions can corrupt the very date they are trying to record. Most people don't even trust everything they see on TV that happened last week, how can a book written over 2000 years ago be trusted? As to my conclusion, the only way an accurate account of history is ever going to be recorded is if human beings are not in it.

In reviewing your answers, I thought that I would let you know that there is solid documentation to Christ's life. It is called the Bible, a book that still stands up to human speculation day in and day out. It has been tried over and over again and still stands. So that is proof #1.
Second the Romans were paper pushers to the max. There are many documents atesting to the life of Christ as well as documents from Pilate's era.
Third I believe Josephus the Jewish Historian also documented part of Jesus' works here on earth. You can get his book and read it.
Now you will probably disregard all of this proof seeking even more proof.
But here is the final proof, He died for your sins.
The sad thing is that you still seek proof for someone who died just for you and your sins.

I don't think it's a question of did he live, it's a question of who he was.
Quote Wikipedia:
"A small minority argue that Jesus never existed as a historical figure, but merely a metaphorical or mythological figure syncretized from various non-Abrahamic deities and heroes."
So I guess there are some who would argue as far as he doesn't exist, but I think most accept writings of the New Testament authors and outside-the-Bible authors as solid enough backing for his mere existence.
Empirically proven beyond a doubt? No.
Generally regarded as true? Yes.

Writing of his time?!?!? wtf? There are NO writing of his time. He raised the dead and feed 5000 people at a time and the first writings about him came 40 years after he supposedly lived!
We have detailed roman and Egyptian records that do NOT mention and Jesus character.

Yes. Simply the Bible. All your evidence is in there.
You were given the abilty to have free will. Whether you want to believe in something or not is your decision. However, the facts are stated.
